In 2018, Manning challenged incumbent Senator Ben Cardin for the Democratic nomination for the United States Senate election in her home state of Maryland.[26] On June 26, 2018, Manning finished second among eight candidates. Manning received 5.7% of the votes; Cardin won renomination with 80.5% of the votes cast.[27]
On March 8, 2019, Manning was held in contempt of court by a United States District Court judge and jailed in Alexandria, Virginia for refusing to testify to a grand jury investigating WikiLeaks. Manning said she refuses to testify because she objects to the secrecy of the grand jury process, and already revealed everything she knows at her court martial. The judge ordered her to remain in jail until Manning testifies or until the grand jury concludes its work.[9]

As far as Trump's income tax, I read that there is a federal law that requires presidents to release them if a committee asks for them. Legally, the IRS has to turn them over. Trump is the first president since Nixon to fight it.
If the IRS clears Trump of any wrongdoing when filing his taxes, whose business is it? I don't see Feinstein releasing her tax records either. Talk about "a much to do about nuthin!"
