Wow! What a moronic statement. I had friends who died bc they were too poor to afford medical care. My best friend is going to an early grave because of all the stress from not having $ and getting screwed over any time he starts to get ahead.

So many lies, so many political buddies in jail - if you won't let anyone testify then what are ya hiding?

....I mean, look who is running against him. Pitiful group of socialists bribing the young masses with promises of free candy. Tens or hundreds of trillions of dollars of free candy.

Much like corporations and the 1%. That **** don't trickle down. Better spend giving breaks to the people, not billionaires.

Global warming (I stole this)

You're limiting your prospective groups. A third group could be those who took high school science and college science and then, 20 years later, looked at the updated science of ice core samples and realized that 400,000 years of ice core samples is far more valid than that of the 50 years of the sky- is- falling predictions by ill- informed scientists.

This isn't a Republican vs Democrat issue, a Chevron vs Sierra Club, or a high school education vs a college education issue. This is a fact vs hysterical fiction issue. To believe that 150 years of industry has raised temperature and CO2 levels, the likes of which the earth hasn't seen in its 5 BILLION YEAR existence, is foolishly myopic.

I will again implore you to look at the data from the Vostok ice core samples. I will even provide you two links. Please educate yourself.

There is no debate that the earth is warming. The problem with the current debate is one group believes what they see and hear from a rabid partisan media; ill informed -or worse- biased and financially dependent scientists, which leads said group to form an uneducated opinion not based in fact that humans are solely responsible for earth's warming. Another group has actually read the actual science and knows that earth has gone through dozens upon dozens of heating and cooling cycles and high and low CO2 events looooooooong before Australopithecus crawled out of the mud in eastern Africa.

3,000 years ago the Great Minoan warming period happened, 2,000 years ago the Great Roman warming period happened, and 1,000 years ago the Medieval warming period happened. All of these events saw temperatures that were 1) higher on average than they are now, 2) coincided with great advances in government, art, architecture, and science, and 3) all of these warming periods were followed by cooling periods and then another rise in temperature.

Our current warming is well within natural variation as the earth is currently exiting the Little Ice Age event that followed the Medieval warming period, and in view of the general decline in temperatures during the last half of this interglacial period, is probably beneficial for mankind and most plants and animals, not to mention innovation and science.

But listen, nothing that I say will change your mind unless you do the research on your own. Follow the links i provided, and all the links within the pages. Follow the science, the truth will set you free.

Look at sea levels rising. Many cities at sea level are going under water.
Could be a regular natural systematic evolutionary thing with the sun and earth. But do you really want to chance it?
ExxonMobil scientist predicted this 30 years ago. One cannot deny the pollution earthlings produce is not affecting the climate.

Tell that to the people there that have water coming up the street.
They are selling out at a very high rate.
Look at venice that was 3 feet under water.

While we should try to avoid attributing a single event to climate change, the increased frequency of these exceptional tides is obviously a big concern. In our changing climate, sea levels are rising and a city such as Venice, which is also sinking, is particularly susceptible to such changes.

On a side note, I'm taking my friend's fiance to the courthouse tomorrow so she can talk to some people about her case. The brat who attacked her apologized & wants to drop charges & is currently in foster care. They are friendly again but that doesn't change the fact that the girl has felony charges against her. My friend thinks she should take a plea but I think she should plead not guilty since this is a stand your ground state and she was defending herself against a physical attack by a trespasser in her home. The brat admitted that the injury to her head came from falling and hitting her head on the porch, but that doesn't mean she's going to say that to a judge. The witness they had is currently in jail for grand theft auto. He started stealing from my friend behind his back, hotwired his truck and damaged the steering column, then got arrested for stealing his grandfather's truck. He also stole my friend's cable modem.

Meanwhile, he'd been ordered to pay 10% of his income in child support (on top of paying for his daughter's Medicaid). The $ was automatically put on to a credit/debit card that the ex had. Last month the money went to her and then HR called him to tell him that his paycheck was being garnished for child support. Said it was now 25% as a penalty for being in arrears. So she got 35% of his paycheck last month which made it so he was unable to pay some of his bills-- so some automatic payments got rejected & he got overdraft fees. That means his ex lied to the courts & said he wasn't paying. To add insult to it, he looked at the card transactions & saw that 80% of the charges were for Popeyes-- and his daughter doesn't like food from Popeyes. Fat b**** was using the child support $ to stuff her fat face instead of buying stuff for their daughter. On top of child support, my friend was still buying his daughter clothes bc her clothes keep going missing over at the mother's house. And the mother is trying to stop him from seeing the daughter-- but her boyfriend told him privately he can come over and get the daughter anytime bc he knows what it's like to have an ex try to use the kids against him. My friend wasn't even notified by the court that his ex had filed any sort of complaints and wasn't given notice to appear in court to defend himself. But at least he's deactivated the card she was using so she won't get the extra $ from him anymore. He's working on paperwork with his family lawyer to contest it. He can't afford to pay that much because he still needs to pay his bills.

Can the ex be charged criminally for lying to the court about my friend not paying child support?
We're hoping he can get it reduced back to 10% because she lied (and also bc she doesn't actually need more than that for the daughter since my friend will buy her stuff as needed if it's not covered by the support- and she's not an expensive kid at this point). My friend said if the daughter actually needed 25% he'd be fine paying it, but it's obvious that the ex is spending it on herself & he simply can't afford it. I've heard some people complain that he shouldn't have had a kid with her-- but he didn't want to. He was only having protected sex & she poked holes in the condoms because she wanted to get pregnant (something she bragged about later).

In fact, the results suggest a turning point in the change of absolute sea level for the mid fifteenth century, quite consistent with the literature: sea level must have dropped from a maximum elevation during the Mediaeval Warm Period, when absolute sea level was 12 to 21 cm higher than today, to a minimum around 1730, as a result of the Little Ice Age. Since the Little Ice Age global warming has led to an accelerated sea level rise, which is illustrated by the long-term data set for Venice.

According to that, the sea level has been rising for close to 300 years. How large were the coal and steel industries back in them that days?

Maybe all of the continents are sinking! Yeah, that's it.
I personally think the poles are shifting due to melting ice .
Are we getting too close to the sun
When was it when humans supposedly could walk from what is now russia to Alaska to populate north america? Ancient cities lie under water.
Where was all that water back then, in ice? Yes of course the ice age.
Fact is the eath is warming faster than any time . And humans are cause and effect.

Faster than any other time?
Look at the graphs there are times when the spike is longer and steeper than it is now. Time to adjust a little..... I mean just deal with it. Reality is, there are more people and people need more energy. Usage will never ever go down because of that simple fact. Whatever miniscule percentage we are causing, can't be undone. Have to kill off the human race to 'save the planet'.
Can you imagine the devestation that a 5 degree cooling would cause?
