Must not have been a West Coast thing cuz I don't ever recall seeing something like that.
I don’t know if you could stretch it without attaching it around the entire perimeter. Double stick tape or hot glue as mentioned might accomplish that to some degree but now we’re not really talking loose lay anymore. And the concrete would have to be pretty smooth and clean for it to stick well enough to hold a stretch.I see they don't want glue for some reason. Another thought. How about trying to stretch twords the decking and toss in a couple staples.... In the decking part?
Also, maybe not warranty anything loose laid? They've been nothing but problems for me in the past.
Might as well just go with tack and pad at that point.

It was flat, it just got kinked from positioning the tub. Some how, that kink needs to be corrected. Good Luck Don !
