My brother has one in his yard that eats cookies.

They also eat cucumber plants. I watched him get mine 2 years in row.
There is one in the neighborhood that you can feed out of your hand. I'm told it is a bad idea as the squirrel don't see very close straight ahead. you could lose a finger.
As I get older they are fun to watch.
A friend of mine built one of these merry go rounds for a squirrel. Its hilarious to watch.

I've missed my old photo trips to the hippy rock. I was playing around with an old one and cleaned it up a bit. I guess that's my new hobby.
Here's a before and after.
My cousin's kid is graduating high school and my uncle drove down to California to be there.
He's going to be bringing back a Canon film scanner that my other cousin isn't using anymore. If it does a good job, and I can figure out how to work it, I will be able to scan more of my photos. yippee.
Hopefully I will be able to make better scans than the el-cheapo's that I get from the local Fred Meyer film department.

The image is looking south from Hanging Rock, a place just inside the north border of the Rogue Wilderness, about 80 miles southeast of where I live.

I just saw something in this photo......... something red caught my eye.
It's to the lower right directly below the rock outcropping. Hmmmm  Is my imagination running wild?

Nice pic, early morning? What ever it is it is large, like the head of a dinosaur and I think it is looking at you. You better go back and see what it is. Course it could be some clothing of a person who fell off that ridge.

Small trout and sluicing for gold out of this creek. A nice place to cool off in the hot spells too. At the hottest time of the year, it's still too cold to swim in, unless you're a glutton for punishment.

Taken in mid afternoon in mid December of 04 or 05.
I zoomed way in. I can't figure out how after dropping 70 feet, the coffee cup landed upright and intact. The guy isn't lookin so well.
..........I wonder if that jacket is still any good :D

Thanks. But as usual, the opportunity presents itself, and if I'm lucky, I've got a camera to capture it. Good subjects can make you look like you MIGHT know what you're doing. At least with me anyway.:)

Darol I can never seem to make my photos interesting. Highup is good at making photos more interesting
On a side note I have a Canon camera with 16 Mega Pixels, 8 X Optical Zoom. I asked a camera shop at Norfolk Island recently when we were there how he ranked my camera as to taking good shots. We are doing a 4 or 5 day trip to Antartica next Feb so wanted to get some good photos. Camera shop guy reckons there is nothing wrong with my camera. What do you reckon?
