Oregon's got some forest fires going, mostly inland. The wind shifted and is coming from the north east. Being on the coast, we should be about 70 or 75. That N.E. flowing wind always brings us the hot weather from the valley. With all the fires, it's bringing the smoke with it. Brother and I went to DQ, and even at 5:30 every car has its lights on. I don't ever recall seeing this much smoke in the air. The smoke is coming from 200 miles away. You can even see tiny ash particles. Looking near straight up the sun was a dull orange dot.
Tomorrow's supposed to be the same.
It got up to 89 degrees, but if the smoke didn't shield us from the sun it would have gotten much hotter.
