"Real" cameras have a squirrel with a paintbrush inside.
That's a 'golden hour' photo. End of the day images have better color than high noon. "Back in the day", on my weekend excursions, I used the daytime to drive and explore new roads and places, then scrambled for a photo during that last hour of daylight.
Cloudy is actually my favorite because it makes the hard contrast go away. It makes colors more saturated................. But cloudy don't work with a sunset does it?
Hey Ernesto, his hands are out, he's askin' for a cold one.
.......damn, you got a golden hour shot too. Nice shot.
Museum of my archives. Gramps old 1966 GMC?
I recall before he went independent, he had a larger box/delivery truck.
I recall as a little tyke, (probably 5 years old), Grandpa driving me to school. It was the first time I rode in this large truck.......... thinking now it was probably equivalent to a UPS truck size wise.
There was a grate of some kind on the dashboard, probably a vent for the heater. I poked my finger in a hole in the vent asking what was inside.
He said "a mouse" ... and not to do that.
..............to this day, I still kinda wonder if the van really had a mouse inside that vent.
......enter some Twilight Zone music now.
The company I worked for when I first moved to Michigan had a van like that. I was always afraid of getting in an accident and having my legs cut off. But was actually fun to drive.
Had to put the carpet up on the motor cover to get the roll all the way in. I remember a really large roll one time. The weight was so far back, that the steering wasn't all that good. Job was in town so not too many turns to make.
I use to set those 200' rolls of cpt on 2 furniture dolly's .. Kick the van in reverse , and jam on the brakes .. Got so good at it the cpt would land on the Dolly's..
