Parking lot shot is all I got. Haven't seen this much color in the past year.

If I ever get to feeling better, I will get my pro camera out and take some pictures. I have a Nikon 5100 with a bunch of lenses. Have not used it in a couple years. My phone does not take very good pictures.

It always amazes me how fast the colors can change during these transitional periods in early morning and at night. 15 minutes later or earlier and the whole thing will look completely different and go blue. Great capture! Thanks for sharing!

That's for sure, even a minute changed this one.
It's only about a minute and a half to drive to our cities PP&L substation, where I could have made a silhouette of the transmission towers. That might have made a decent photo
........someone would probably have called in a terrorist threat. 🤣

When I used to go on my photo/ camping trips, I went to bed a lot earlier, so I woke up earlier. When timed right and bundled up warm, it's quite a sight watching the last stars disappear, the sky getting brighter, the birds start chirping and flying and the sun comes up. It happens faster than a person would think.
My vantage points were almost always from old logging landings so I had a clear view off across the distant hills and also down below into the valleys where dense fog would settle, looking like they were filled with milk.
