Hi all
I am a diy'er attempting stick down herringbone lvt for the first time. So far it's going ok. I messed up my markings and laid to much f48 adhiesive (using an a2 trowel) that has now set. It's quite difficult to scrape up even with heat and I have a lot to remove before continuing the job. I should of removed it at the end of the session....hindsight! Is it essential I scrape it all up or is it common to glue back over the top? If I use white spirit, will it affect the ability for the new layer of glue to stick to the latex screed? Thanks!
