After 5 years and thousands upon thousands of sq. ft. laid, I am officially out of the flooring business. I landed a job at the bank in their IT department and I couldn't be more thrilled. I'll still hangout with you guys though

I can vision him at his new job, looking down and thinking, I bet my flooring job would be better!
He will always check out the floor when he enters a room.

I know that banks take entire rolls of photos of floor layers when they bang on the floor too hard on a Saturday afternoon. Ask me how I know.

just basic IT stuff like imaging pcs, Answering help desk calls, and traveling to branches to fix things. This bank is buying up branches left and right so we are in the process of converting the other banks over to the new system. He's daydreaming about installing.
Lol. I am missing the crap out of manual labor. Not working manually is actually making me tired. It's weird. I'm more tired than when I would install all day.

They are looking to hire at least one more. Everyone is telling the heads they need at least 3 more right now though. We just acquired 14 more branches in Tennessee and Virginia. It's hard for 5 guys to run the IT department for close to 50 branches.
