Took my dog to the vet. She will have to be put to sleep after 13 years. I am not taking it very well.
That’s never easy Rusty, my deepest heart felt sympathies to you and the family.

Dogs not only fill an undeniable role of companionship but they also allow us to express unconditional Love towards them, unlike the way we can with people.

11pm, 48degrees, wind 0, rain 0.....and dark.
For 3 weeks our lows were 10 to 15 below average, but I think we're over the hump. We're at 48 and we won't get much lower overnight. Average low is around 41or 42 this time of year.
No snow this year. When we got cold we had clear sky's. Two years ago we got 7 inches and then it stayed cold keeping a lot of roads slippery for a week.

Darn it. That’s never easy. We have an older dog that is coming to that stage sooner than anyone wants.

I found a nick in my tape today. Had to cut a V in it. I’ve got some scotch tape at home that I’ll wrap it with tomorrow. Guess I’m buying a new tape after all 😂 No more of that 35’ business, I like a 30’ tape so that’s what I’m sticking with.

Got a paper punch?
I wonder how a tiny moon shape would last?

When I was in the Navy if we found a crack in the skin of the big bird we drilled a hole at the end, that would stop the crack.

Don’t know the technicals but I think it disperses the stress. If you’re doing Formica they actually recommend you leave inside corners rounded as opposed to filing them tight to the corner. It prevents stress cracking. I used to file my corners tight until one day, and it’s the only time it ever happened to me, I had stress cracking at the corners of my countertops. After that I run a 1/4” bearingless bit around and leave it at that.

My brain hurts! I had to take a few days and do what soothes me. What does that look like? It looks like stain grade base with rounded inside and outside corners, aka a kick in the nutz. Bro, I’m all in. I may be in the desert but some people have infinity pools with golf course views. I think I’ll set my saw up right here!

9 hour day today. I got 2 1/2 rooms and 2 closets done today. Pain in the Azz for sure but I had a smile the entire day.

By the way, those double piece rounded corners look nice👍
I've never seen it done that way.

The bullnose corners are huge. 1.5”? Maybe even 2”? I’ll measure one tomorrow to see exactly how big they are. This is my first time seeing rounded inside corners. Kinda cool looking but damn, you wanna talk about adding time onto a job. And you know there ain’t a single corner that doesn’t have excess mud built up at the bottom. Do I take the time to beat the corners or do I really take the time and figure out all the angles without beating sheetrock mud. I brought my shop vac in cus I did end up having to beat a few.
