It was. Initially I was out $39 for two burgers, fries. Left with $4o more than I came with and my brother about $40 ahead.
What are two burger/fry meals at Wendy's, close to $30?

My wife went to the casino with a friend a couple weeks ago and hit for $400. She’s smart so she pulled out and kept the winnings. She didn’t share with me. I can respect that cus if I won I wouldn’t be sharing either😂

The router bit I’ve been waiting for arrived today. 1.375” diameter, 2” cutting depth, compression cut, top and bottom bearings. 😁

Got some new ear muff hearing protection as well. Putting ear plugs in and taking them out frequently is a PITA. These things are nice and I won’t stab my brains anymore. 😂

.....and to think she could have put that into your PC savings account. 😁

...the hearing protection is for someone else so they can't hear you screaming in agony when that Kraken suddenly attacks?

Not that my phone listens..... I have"messenger " and "Hey Google turned off.
I exit the forum here, and immediate go to a lightning tracker app to see if we have lightning approaching from offshore. We had tons last night.
It's a free lighting app, so of course they toss ads at you here and there.
CJ, I mention Kraken to you in my comment, then click on my lightning app. It's literally 3 to10 seconds later and here's the advertisement that shows up on the free app. 🤧🤧🤧

You can't stop your phone from reading what you type and listening to what you say. 🙄

Yeah, It’s kinda creepy. Even other people’s phones around you will rat you out.

Maybe use in conjunction with a foot switch. If the router makes a fast exit, you'd instantly have your foot off the switch.View attachment 20495

I don’t like a foot switch for a router. I do like foot switches for other things, though. It’s too easy to get into the habit of mindlessly stepping on the peddle and accidentally stepping on it when you don’t mean to. With a shop vac, who cares. With a router it could be your fingers/ hands, cus I know not everyone unplugs their router every time like you should. You think why, it’s on a foot switch, then you mindlessly/ accidentally step on the switch out of habit as you’re changing the bit. Shop vacs and dust collectors are great for foot switches. Maybe even a scroll saw but that’s about it.

No, you wouldn't lock the trigger on. Leave the lock off. The foot pedal would be a safety backup. You'd only do this with a scary bit anyway.

CJ, love the cat tree and the puppy is absolutely adorable!

Been having thunderstorms here. My guts are still not liking the Metformin. Brother made an adaptation of a family recipe from mom's grandma-- chicken paprikash soup. Mom's version tasted better, but this one is still good. Recipe calls for Hungarian sweet paprika, which is harder to find these days. Mom used to boil a chicken and had onions and seasoning-- including the Hungarian sweet paprika. She mentioned something about making a roux with the paprika. I can't eat onions unless they were dehydrated and then rehydrated. The rehydrated ones aren't as rough on my guts. Bro had to use the dried ones for it to be safe for me to eat. Instead of boiling a whole chicken bro cut up boneless skinless chicken thighs and cooked them in the pressure cooker with chicken broth and seasonings. Sour cream gets added at the end.

Inspector for house my friend is trying to buy will check things out on the 8th and hopefully it will pass. We took care of everything on the list. Door was fixed, roof workshop addons were torn down, debris cleared out, roof patched, and today I brought him some structural screws and helped him sister up the jack stud that was rotted at the bottom on the doorway to the workshop. Now it doesn't move, there's no problem with structure, and it looks nice.

Had to see if the ocean was still there.
.....it is, but the weather said stay in the truck. IckyView attachment 20487View attachment 20488
Two days later and we could have watched this. 🤧
The location is half way between the locations of my previous photos on Christmas day. Just a few miles from either location. No, these wave bursts are not an every day occurrence. It takes just the right conditions. sometimes large storms near Japan will contribute by sending large ocean swells across the Pacific.

Not ending 24 on a good note 😡… 2 emergency units called in. One with 3 day notice, just before Xmas and today with 2 day notice, including today, just before New Year 😡 ….. What would your Emergency up fee be ? ….. I just left the job (10:30 pm) and it’s loaded with cat pee. I’ll have the enzyme tingling my tongue for a few days 😡
