It’s 4:30ish and I feel like I hit a home run today.

When a customer or adversary picks up on someone’s assertiveness, from words, actions, body language, and don’t underestimate the power of a clean and organized truck THAT ! demonstrates respect for one’s self. Then ! Chances are they may reflect back that assertiveness by pitching you an assertive message, that you can now decide whether to step up to the plate or not and potentially a chance to hit it out of the park.

Anything less than that creates a haphazard game where win or lose takes precedence over responsible competition.

I think with my truck being so messy looking it is less of a target for thieves. But I do try to park in sight of security cameras when possible.
One or more of the cats supersoaked my favorite blanket last night. Decided to wash it and a few other blankets and sheet. I only use one sheet since I don't know what happened to the fitted sheet.

Mom requested that I get celery from the grocery store. So I made the mistake of bringing my brother along. He got a bunch of stuff to make salsa-- stuff I either hate or am allergic to. Picked up sweet feed from TSC for the cows. The younger cow made it to the truck before the older one and the younger one is usually slower because her hip has problems. Older cow is now over 20-- I think possibly 23. She's lost a lot of weight and doesn't hold her eyes open all the way. I've been getting her hay and sweet feed but she's not regaining any weight. I'm going to get a deworming block soon.

After I cooked for Mom I went out and petted her and sang to her. She held her head down so I could scratch the spot between her horns and back of her head. She sometimes goes up to shrubs and tries to get the branches/sticks to get into that spot to scratch it. She had a couple ticks up in there so I plucked them off and squished them.

While I was pulling the meat off the bones of the rotisserie chicken my brother decided to use my blender to make his salsa. Mom saw him with the stuff she knows I'm allergic to and told him not to use my blender for it. He ignored her and did it anyway. I then couldn't find anything but the base. Its a portable one so you can take the top part and lid to carry around like a cup/mug to drink from. I later found he put it in the fridge-- really soaking up the onion and jalapeños that make me sick. Thing is, he has his own brand new blender still in the box that he could have used but he decided to use mine. I may just take his blender and use it now. The smell of the onion and stuff is still lingering in the kitchen and irritating my eyes and making me nauseous.

Fed canned food to the older cats. I have to put Itsy's food out last to give the other 3 time to eat before she finishes and tries to steal their food. Fippy stole Rupert's food. Boo decided not to finish his so I gave Rupert the food. I had to put a little water in the bowl and then had to hold him up on the little end table so he wouldn't fall off. At one point he started hollering for no apparent reason so I carried him and the food over to the couch and eventually had to hold the bowl up to his face for him to eat. He's got balance issues still after the bad ear infection.

Mine is a magnet for chaos!!

Got t boned about 5 months ago. Got it repaired & had one of my guys pick it up when I was out of town & he hit a deer dropping it off to my house. Repaired it again. I just smoked a deer last week!!!

I went to the theater yesterday and today.
End of a 10 year enlargement and restoration. It's beautiful.
All I can do now is stair.

The balcony stairs are the last part of the carpeting, then a new railing.
Two sets of steps in the center, then a set to fit to the seating at the right and left walls.
I made the runner patterns center on the landings below each step. They'll have metal so people can see the stair edges.
The runner widths were cut about 5 years ago.... I think they should have been 5 inches wider.

The theatre has some extremely dedicated and hard working people who are responsible for this restoration. They've probably raised around 4 million including an addition which has dressing rooms, large bathrooms, rehearsal rooms, storage and a shop to build sets.

Nice Z ! …. You could have given your brother the three stages of directing, but you chose to give his lazy butt understanding, and apply a work around by confiscating his blender.

My buddy is a magnet for deer. He leaves for work about 4 AM so it’s always dark. He’s had deer jump out in front of him, and hit them, three different times. Worst part is, after you hit them, they then bounce over or down the side of your vehicle causing even more damage.

I’m a little luckier. I’ve only had one impact. I think it was an owl or something. Some sort of flying creature flew up and hit my hood, then bounced up and over my van. Scared the crap outta me. It bent my antenna and loosened the mount. Other than that I am damage free. I better knock on some wood now.

We had stopped because of deer crossing the road and one ran into us.

A deer ran into the side of our CRV a few years back. And I think I mentioned that a couple deer ran out in front of me not too long ago. The fur is still stuck in a crack on the truck. I hope the derpy deer survived and was Ok afterward. I bet it was hurting.

Never driven one of the Transit vans but I’ve heard other people say they hate them as well. I decided to fix my ‘05 instead of buy something new because of the price, and I thought I wouldn’t like it either. What exactly is it that don't you like about it?
