About 95% of our public housing tenants are white. I did all the flooring there for 10 years. I have had to recarpet the same apt. 4 times in a year. Some qualify for more assistance than the apt. costs, so they get a check for the difference. In other words, not only is their rent free, they get paid to live there.

I suppose color is dependent on location. Portland had about a 2% to 3% black population when I was growing up. Maybe 5% or 6%? Now. Charlotte is 40%?, or higher depending on what part you’re in. So when people base things on color I don’t think that’s as accurate as someone’s economic status yet color is what people often refer to without taking into account other factors. If you live in a predominantly black city, of course you will have a high(er) percentage of poor black people. Same thing with a predominately white city.
As far as free handouts, I had a friend that was dating an ex methhead. When she got out of rehab she was considered ‘disabled’. She got a furnished 2 bedroom apartment for dirt cheap, cash assistance that paid for the apartment and cell phone as well as food stamps with cash leftover to spend on whatever. She lived better than I was and I was humpin my ass to make ends meet. I was seriously pissed off when I saw just exactly how much she was GIVEN just because she made poor decisions in her life whereas I had to bust my ass just to scrape by in an expensive city.
She bought steak and lobster with her Oregon trail food stamp card, had her hair and nails done frequently, didn’t have to work and didn’t have to justify why, her kids had free daycare (and she wasn’t working!). It’s sickening just how much we give people who don’t have broken arms or legs. There’s no reason they can’t be working. I don’t consider this to be privilege, it’s straight up abuse that we all end up paying to fund through our taxes.

One of the Democrat candidates for Lt Governor, I think it was Montana said last year that Biden came to campaign for her. She said he came up behind her, put his hands on her waist and buried his face in her hair. She was totally freaked out and stayed a long way from him after that.
I did not care for Trump personally, but before the pandemic, he had unemployment at record lows and the stock market at record highs. And he was trying to control the southern border. During his term, some middle east treaties got signed that had sat there for 50 years. So far Biden has done nothing but escalate inflation and allow illegals to swarm over the border.
For the record, I tried to watch Trump's TV show once and he came across as an arrogant A hole.

The term racist is thrown around so frequently and is often incorrectly used that I don’t even pay it any attention anymore. In fact I’m more likely to not engage in conversation with you because you just showed how ignorant you are.
Shoppin at Walmart some time ago and they have a security camera by the black hair care products. The wife says that’s racist. I say Walmart don’t care about any color other than green so it’s not racist, it’s statistics. If they noticed that apples or Betty Crocker was frequently stolen they would have a security camera on them as well. Same reason convenience stores lock the beer coolers at night as opposed to the roller dog stands. Ain’t nobody making a late night hot dog run but beer runs happen all the time. Statistics.

Mike i apologize. Being a retired proud law enforcement officer for 25 years, I don't have a racist bone in my body. My family is so racially mixed, you would laugh at our diversity. Seems the one thing a liberal does alot these days is sling the race card, and you bet your arse, I take offense to it.
