I'm not always in agreement with Russell, but he's sharp. I wouldn't want to debate him.

Okay they have your world wide ID. They have your firearms permit and ID.
They of course add those to your medical ID which is of course attached to your voter ID....

So what would you have a army of employees all with guns on their hips? That in itself is a little scary to shop there. So if that employee gets upset with you, BANG you're dead. There has to be a better way, and I don't know the answer, but I don't believe guns should be banned. You can make a weapon out of most anything on the planet.

Holding onto Blame, and Shame rather than learning how to manage it through tools that teach personal responsibility. This is not rockets science.

It’s not full proof because of free will, and our constant exposure to violence, but imho is the root cause.

It’s not full proof because of free will,

Free Will is so strong that anytime someone presses against it we react quickly by Blaming ! ! with out considering the next move. Sometimes the knee jerk reaction is appropriate but other times it can cause more jerky behaviors. The trick of the trade as we walk along is to help ourselves and others to minimize this
‘ reactive blaming mechanism ‘ if you will.

One easy way to start is through language and our word choices. For example ( sorry havasu ) quote :

The first line has ‘ Could ‘ the second line has the word ‘ Should ‘ ….. Words like Should, Never, Always, Have too, Everyone, Must, YOU ! etc etc
Are words that Press Against Free Will. It’s subtle but quite impactful. Now everyone
( sorry ) some of us have a different tolerance to this pressure so we MUST ! ( sorry again )
( I use must way to much and it keeps me activated in blame and less like
Gandhi ) So let’s try this instead ; Some people have different tolerance, so try to give understanding around that. When we project our tolerances onto others we are now upping the ante or pressing down on the foot of others free will.

Give it a try, and start by limiting Should and increasing Could when ever possible ….. it’s all about being assertive and Should is on the aggressive side of assertive

Speaking of unions............wife just got a 12.35 raise which will (I think) increase her pension an equal amount. So I had all these budgets mapped out and now I've got to get back into my Excel spread sheets and reformulate. They were about to go on strike TODAY but last minute, midnight negotiations found a compromise. It was 5.2 retroactive as they never signed last years contract then 7% on top of that for the current school year.

Best part is the retroactive pay for 14 months.

If Biden was going to get anyone released from Russia, what about the soldier? Or how about the teacher who has served 3 years of a 14 year sentence for possession of a small amount of medical pot? Instead of a basketball player who was convicted of assault in the US and drug smuggling in Russia.
