Havasu do you know these officers from La. and is there anything valid about this story ? https://www.npr.org/2025/03/07/nx-s...rder-minneapolis-pd-turns-to-lapd-for-lessonsI learned in my police academy classes that it is impossible to be strangled without petechiae forming in the eyes. That trial was just a "feel good" farce.
Darn ! I missed a whole bunch of posts on the topic of how the Demonrats Words and Actions were so disrespectful to the guest who went through trauma. And ! all of you have valid emotional reactions from that selfish display. You aren't hyper sensitive one tiny bit. They can hate Trump all they want, but not the people Trump invited to this address.

NiceNo, I'm not aware of Minneapolis taking advice from LAPD. Seems a bit of a Yen/Yang, since the mentality of both departments being vastly different. Akin to Pee Wee Herman asking for help from Chuck Norris.
No, just stating fact. Currently, my son is taking the Las Vegas Metro Police sniper's shooting training course, to use for the LA County Sheriff's Department. The bigger departments save money by cross training with other larger departments, but Minnesota is so far behind the 8 ball, they don't have the skill or money needed to 1) Learn 2) afford better equipment.Niceand seriously, I’m enjoying the comedy of that duel message, however would you care to elaborate! ….
I was hoping for some type of Loyalty message or a hint of one between one Police dept. to another. That even though there is a recognition of a fundamental difference that may weaken a departments ability to serve with integrity, that there would also be a recognition of fundamental similarities to consider ?
It’s my belief that when we go all in with judgment against a different method we leave no room for improvements through respectful dialogue.
Best of luck and skill for your son, I bet you’re proudNo, just stating fact. IMHO, this all has to do with the liberal mindsets from the departments in question.
So you don't like the truth? Typical for a Democrat. Thanks for sharing that Australia Blue article and it started out respectful with the facts, but then it ended with sticking the dogs nose in its poopand was that necessary ?
When we start off assertively, but then passionately become intoxicated with power, we may become irresponsible as we finish out the message. So I ask you did that article finish responsibly orresponsibly?

That is for darn sure, but I would go one step further. The human race must take control of our asylum before any corrective action can take place…… So how do we do that when both sides are dug into there judgments. I really see no other way than open mindedness communication, understanding, acceptance, forgiveness, awareness, you name it all of these crazy, psychological words that help us find flexibility, but if we keep wanting to go to the opposites, good /evil, win / lose , right / wrong , happy / sad , we will continue playing the game of opposites and remain hobbled as we try to find function and solutions. In the meantime poor decisions are going to be made on both sides because the system we live in is guilty or innocent, so until we create a different system, we are stuck within its confines. The city must take control of the asylum before any corrective action can take place.
You're almost two months past getting away with it.I want to start a charity buying toupees for bald eagles.
Didn't Floyd refuse to get in the car so they laid him down. Wasn't that his preference to not bring in the car?I do believe Chauvin was doing a bit of "showboating", and IMHO, he should have immobilized, handcuffed, and transported ASAP. No need to stand there like a deer hunter who just shot a 16 point Buck.
That incident is actually a good example for why Resist and Defend needs a third Verb to help out. When we find ourselves as a nation or individual stuck between any two actions, it elevates human emotion levels, and tends to increase the percentage for poor outcomes. What in the world, in Gods name, could that action be ? AND IT COSTS NO MONEY ?Didn't Floyd refuse to get in the car so they laid him down. Wasn't that his preference to not bring in the car?
Chauvin was in a very uncomfortable situation with people yelling at him, yelling the race card. I'm sure his adrenaline level was pretty high with that crowd getting larger as they waited for an ambulance....
...wasn't there an ambulance waiting a few blocks away...... waiting for it to be safe enough to drive in and attend to him?
It's been a while. I don't recall everything.
