I was talking about the steps . First install er did right . People out there want everything for free . I charge $100 just to come out and look at it .
I just got paid to ramp some carpet up 1/4" along a 17 foot long S-curve and tuck it to 3/4" hardwood. Charged $70 extra, and that didn't feel like enough.The installer only made $80 for the job. HO won't pay to do anything else. Some other installers are giving the guy grief because he did not ramp it. The difference is 5 inches. How in the hell would you ramp 5 inches and not make the carpet installation look like crap? If the installer even added a threshold, it would come out of his $80. IMHO, HO got what they paid for.
It's a picture of Marlyn Monrow and those are vac lines in the white. I chit chatted with the maker on another forum.
