Screensaver? I'll delete it if you want because it doesn't have your watermark. Oh, that's one cool cat.
Heck no! You can use it all you want. I don't mind at all, and I take it as a compliment!Screensaver? I'll delete it if you want because it doesn't have your watermark. Oh, that's one cool cat.View attachment 20776
I hadn't been out of the house since I fell. Went out this morning and my van is literally a solid block of ice.Us older people shouldn't fall like that, bones beecome brittle and we bruise easily especially if on blood thinners. Just saying.
I wasn't going to use it, I just thought it would make a good screen saver. It's one cool cat photo.Heck no! You can use it all you want. I don't mind at all, and I take it as a compliment!![]()
In the younger days, we actually "fell", more like slow motion.......oooooo hhhhh noooo, I'm faaaaaaallllingI been off for the last four days. I went to go to work on Thursday morning and we had gotten freezing rain. I stepped outside and the next thing I knew I was laying on the ground. Fell down our back steps (4 steps) into the yard. Luckily, I didn't break any bones. I got a huge bruise on my right hip and another one on my left leg. Bent the fingers on my left hand backwards pretty good and I must have hit the railing with my left hand because I got a bone bruise on pinky finger side of my hand. Thank goodness, I had made a last second decision to NOT take my camera with me or it would have gotten smashed. I was sore Thursday but by Friday I felt like I had been in a car wreck. Still sore and stiff this morning but slowly starting to move a bit better.
I definitely don't bounce off of things as well as I used to when I was younger.![]()
Yeah, just takes longer to get back up to normal speed. In the younger days, we actually "fell", more like slow motion.......oooooo hhhhh noooo, I'm faaaaaaalllling
Now its' more like .....I'm walking/so how come I'm on the ground and who put me here?
I did that falling forward about 2 months ago. I'm not sure if my shoulder will ever be fully recovered but even tho there's a little pain spike in certain positions, I can move my arm in any position and pretty much function as normal. It's scary how fast things happen that could be life changing.
Sounds like you're going to be fine.![]()
Do they like riding when YOU are driving?I hadn't been out of the house since I fell. Went out this morning and my van is literally a solid block of ice.

It would have taken me hours to get it unthawed. I ended up begging a ride to work from my dad. They just live a couple of blocks away from me.
Of course, then I got the ride of my life on the way to work.I probably should have just called an Uber. My 11-minute drive took 37 minutes. But, beggars can't be choosers, and he felt like he was a hero. So, it worked out.
It's supposed to warm up above freezing here today, so hopefully it unthaws so I can get the doors open tonight. If not, I'll have to get my heat welding gun out, run an extension cord out there and melt it enough to get the doors open.![]()

Now I'm stuck here at the shop with no Diet Pepsi! This week's not starting out right!
Gonna walk across the street here in a bit to the corner market and grab some Diet Pepsi. Maybe if the bus happens to come by, I'll just hop on and head back home. 30 years of flooring is enough. I think it's getting closer to time to retire!
Oh well, now I get to look forward to riding with my wife on the way home! We'll see how she compares to my dad.![]()
...and you don't start to get back up until you, one at a time, move or wiggle to see if each limb or appendage still functions...Yeah, just takes longer to get back up to normal speed.![]()
Hmmmm...now that is something to consider...Do they like riding when YOU are driving?
.......you only know how well you " think" that you're driving.
