Hello! I'm working on a project soon and I noticed my laminate floor will be sitting about 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch higher than my tile. What kind of mold do you recommend? Guy at the store recommended T mold type. But aren't t molds used for surface at equal height? I was thinking reducer? Thanks!

1/4 of an inch isn't too bad for a t mold. Most reducers won't work for 1/4 inch and require a greater height difference to work correctly. 1/2 inch may be enough but it's best to measure the molding height and measure your floor height to determine what is best.

thanks I will install floors next week and post the measurements. Also do you think I should be fine with the gap between the tile and wood about 3/4 of an inch???

3/4 to an inch will be fine for almost all t molds and reducers. Don't go any less though.
