Yep, heat index 105-110. Actual temp is supposed to be 104 Wed and Thurs. Friday will be a cool 98.

That is what I want when it is hot, cold meat sammiches and potato salad or macronie salad. And Karen makes the best of both salads. Today it is 79* and a nice breeze.

Cool, and refreshing. Served with ice. Even the water was delicious.
.....I had to stop to look at something after work, so I was forced to decline tonight's dinner offer.

Guess I’m not as American as I thought.

Honestly, I was just happy to have a home cooked meal. Between work, my kids sports & other responsibilities I very rarely get a home cooked meal these days. Pop Warner football season just started & that’s at least 4 days a week. Then he has fights lined up all over the north east & he needs gym time to boot. Very busy!! I’m ashamed of how much eating out and fast food we’ve had to suck down.

I love me some cottage cheese with lots of fresh ground black pepper on top.

And these things. Mod pizza has some homemade Ding Dongs, I love them too.
