My daughter hit a rock and blew a tire. Took it back to Walmart and they refused to honor the road hazard warranty. What a ripoff.

Makes ya want to see the wording of the warranty.
Does it cover pieces of tackstrip, carpet metal and chunks of a broken driveline?

I got my shutters installed yesterday at the new house.

when I was a kid we were just too stupid, stoned and drunk to care about common sense things like......what if

MAN, did we do some stupid ****.

Lucky I didn't get shot.........about a hundred times!

Thanks Nick.

I found a 4" x 12" x 12' long beam today, that had dryrot half way through it. I called the termite inspector who signed off on the termite repairs, and asked him how this passed inspection. He then said the old owner was suppose to fix it all, and assumed they had done the job completely, and tried to have me go after the old owner. I told him he signed off on the inspection, therefore it is now his responsibility to fix. He reluctantly said he would be over to discuss this issue with me tomorrow. Might be time to file suit on this idiot.

I'd keep looking to see what else got passed over.

I would hire a good independent house inspector. Shame , That's a nice looking house .

Either that or stuff him, and put him next to the fish, and the moose . :)

We had 3 home inspectors, but they tell you up front that any dry rot or termite damage is not under their scope of work. This is all under the termite inspection, which I only found out after the purchase that he is friends with the sellers.

Sorry that the inspector was in cahoots with the seller. Hope that's the only thing you have to get repaired.

Actually, everything the previous owner touched was done incorrectly. He thought he knew house repair. He mixed black and white wires in all the walls and light fixtures, failed to install GFI's on all outside pool equipment, cemented around the sprinkler pipe valves, installed door knobs backwards, put the A/C filter on the wrong side of the A/C, tried sealing 1 1/2" drain lines with 1 3/4" caps, didn't use tape when joining drywall in the garage, and lots of other expensive, unnecessary crap.

I wanted a challenge and boy did I get it!

Watch that electric Have , I had a house burn to the ground almost killing the family .

It burns inside the walls ,and then just blows out into the room like napom.

I've spent big bucks paying my brother in law to go over every inch of wire inside the house. Yesterday, I wall mounted two TV's, added plugs for all the electronics in several walls, received two bids for a new roof, and installed blinds on the garage window. Also, termite guy came over and I was ready to go to battle. I found out the guy is a nice, church going fellow who is friends with my brother in law. He is sending a crew over Saturday to replace that rotten beam.
