I was wiping down some countertops with acetone today. Dad gum if you won’t be reminded of every cut and scrape you have on your hands. That **** hurts!
Artists at a wee bit off. They just have to accept it.Can you blame them we can be scary looking.
Years ago, installers would line up outside Empire and bid on jobs. So the customer would get the cheapest installer. How could that go wrong?Artists at a wee bit off. They just have to accept it.
You know the guys in the unwrinkled blue shirts and polyester pants like in the Empire Carpet ads?
...the ones with no scraps or unfinished edges to be seen, and the carpet has already been vacuumed ?
....and the room has a toolbox in the middle of the room with two guys doing absolutely nothing to the carpet edges.
Don't hire them.
Hire the guys with the tattoos.
Wow, even when installing the first was minimal. I never did much volume.I can fill a 5 gallon bucket in a day if I’m doing a lot of rip cuts. Especially if it’s real wood vs MDF.
That's not true. They never hired meYears ago, installers would line up outside Empire and bid on jobs. So the customer would get the cheapest installer. How could that go wrong?
What will the neighbors think?I tiled my outdoor shower today.View attachment 18969View attachment 18970
Assuming you tried calling it?Just got out of the hospital again. Someone there stole my damn phone.
I think they blocked our other numbers.Assuming you tried calling it?
..makes you wish phones were still dialup and on the kitchen wall by the recorder.I think they blocked our other numbers.
You would think the carrier could hack in, take a picture of the thief’s face and then forward it to 5 OGot a new phone. Cricket locked the other phone and blacklisted it.
Most likely they'll want to pop out the SIM card. The whole point of that card is to TRACK you. So they'd have to be very foolish not to remove and replace.I think they blocked our other numbers.
Federal law now requires carriers to unlock phones.I didn't know they were able to retrieve the photos and contacts remotely like that. I wonder if whoever has it now will try to sell it to some unsuspecting rube or if they will try to use it for parts. My friend used to unlock phones and help set up used phones for people but he had someone who brought him a stolen phone and told them they were s.o.l. on getting it activated. I didn't know they could blacklist phones like that though. I wonder if that works if they change the sim card in it.
Been a lazy day watching Youtube videos.
In earlier posts about this staircase from hell I posted pics of a cross section of this trim it is made in Minnesota I think it’s very narrow and has a very very fine gradient that fits under the LVT . I officially hate it charge a lot I did I charged 5000 to glue that and screw the trim on and worst part was they didn’t do the substructure properly out of birch and to exact specs it was a temp and in places the glass actually touches the steps not on purpose we just slammed the last parts together to meet a six month overdue deadline lolThat first step has a dark color on the leading edges. Can you explain more, or possible take a close up pic of this, and how it is done?
As said, beautiful work!
