Started off the day by replacing the filters on my HEPA vac. I put a vacuum bag in it as well. The suculation is strong again. 💪🏻

Back to the countertop at hand. It’s for our new shop so it doesn’t matter, but it does. I’d say it matters more because this is the countertop the boss will be looking at every day. I took my time and routed down the sink. It came out perfect. I didn’t even cuss that much. I did have to take a break from time to time because my hands got tired of holding the router’s balls (the handle are wooden balls) so tight for so long.

After that was done we heated up some mineral oil and bees wax to make our own butcher block butter. Super simple to make. We hot waxed the top then buffed it in. I hit the sink while I was at it. Came out damn smooth.

Holy Fudge! Rotten *******s 😡 and I just completed my Medicare application. 🤞Maybe its time to move to Canada and get the universal healthcare.

Good luck Rusty, Maybe time to open a go-fund-me account 🤷🏻‍♂️

My sisters brother in law had a stroke in Canada, and had a week stay with a procedure for half the bill from a Phila hospital that only monitored him for 3 days afterwards. He saved the insurance company lots of money by being in Canada.
You'll have to wait 4 1/2 months to see a doctor after collapsing from a heart attack.
....on the bright side, you get "free" medical care.

I guess, because he was an American, with good insurance.🤷🏻‍♂️

I wonder how Debbie + Dave are getting along up there. That video she shot of Dave sliding the carpet cuts down a customers icy driveway was hilarious 😂

Rusty, I know it's a pain but see if you can get your doctor or the doctor's staff to argue with Medicare for you. Sometimes stressing that you actually need that med can get them to change their minds. My mother has had to call her insurance to argue with them herself a few times when they refused to pay for stuff. But it's different with meds, need to get pharmacist and/or doctor to back you up on it. They bank on people just rolling over and not fighting back. Although, probably wouldn't be a good idea to say you'd go full Louigi on them if they don't pay for it.

Been tired. Taking out trash, taking care of pets, cleaning up after my brother, managing Mom's insulin pump stuff, etc.
