Still missing her but grateful for the 13 years of unconditional love. Trying to decide if we should get another dog that would probably outlive us. Would that be fair to the dog?
Go get another dog when you’re ready. The way I see it is if you can provide a good home and can afford the responsibility’s then there’s a lot of dogs that need that. It’s a bonus for us that their so awesome.

There is a blue ice cream in the Midwest that you can’t get anywhere else. It’s on my bucket list. We’ll, today I got some! Blue Moon ice cream. Wasn’t sure what to expect. Was it gonna knock my socks off or was it gonna be annother amusement part let down? It was pretty good. Hints of vanilla with fruity pebbleness. I would definitely eat it again!

Make your lips blue?

Ran my van through emissions yesterday then went to DMV. Less than $83 for everything. Emissions, tags, title and plates. Boom! I love my ‘05. I think I’ll wash her today so she looks nice n purdy when I show up to some fancy ass house tomorrow to hang some base. People judge.

I recall working at a shop years ago and one of the customers called to complain because the installer had a dirty van. Nothing wrong with the install or installer, dude just had a dirty van. Then there’s the installers who have a garbage dump for a dashboard. You’ve seen them, papers and 7-11 food boxes right out front for everyone to see. That one actually gets me. Same thing with the guy whose van looks like a bomb went off inside of it. To each their own I suppose but you’re not inspiring confidence in your customers by driving around a trash heap. Even worse if you have a newer vehicle and it looks like a dump.

Workin in one of them fancy neighborhoods tomorrow so I figured I better wash my van today. People judge 👀

I’ve got one of them micro fiber wash mitts so I can wash my own van. Works out nice. You don’t even need soap most of the time. Cool thing about them micro fiber mitts is you wipe down your dash and interior with it while the mitt is dry, then you wash the outside of the vehicle with the mitt once you’re done wiping down the inside.

The wife takes her car to a car wash. She has one of them monthly car wash plans. It’s something like $25 for the month and you get unlimited washes. They also give you some moist towelette thing to wipe down the interior of your car with and an air freshener as well. I can’t stand the smell of the air freshener. It smells like Mapei x 10 to me. I throw them away every chance I get.

I used to do the vanillaroma Christmas tree air fresheners back when my van occasionally stunk. Even tried the ones that you clip onto your vents. Those ones are strong! This was back when I had rip n haul in my van all the time. Some of that stuff stinks and the stink doesn’t leave the vehicle nearly as quick as you can empty your van. Piss crystals are the worst! Park your van in the sun for the day and you’ll know they’re in there, even if your van is empty. Don’t remember when but at some point I decided that my van only carries tools, no more hauling materials or removal. So much nicer now that the only thing I smell is sawdust. Pine or cedar, don’t care, they both smell nice. I won’t say MDF has no smell to it, cus it does, but it’s hard to describe. It smells like strong ultra fine dust is the best description I can think of. It’s all good. As long as I don’t have to smell burnt wood because of a dull blade, things are just fine.

Pulled my plugs for the first time since I discovered my ECM was never fully plugged in and I'd changed from 10/30 to 10/40 oil. Shoved the inspection camera in the holes too.
One bank is cleaner than the other. Both sides have failed seals on the valve stems.
None of the plugs looked too bad, some really nice even after 4 1/4 months

When my dad was alive we kept our vehicles clean on the inside. once we got the Expedition, dad took good care of it and got it washed and covered in clearcoat. After he passed I tried to keep taking it to the car wash but local car wash stopped working properly and the inside got junked up. My brother is particularly bad about junking up the interior of vehicles. He dumps trash all over. Right now the truck is filthy (last time I took it through the car wash the paint peeled off the hood). Don't have a working outdoor hose to clean it but hoping to install a hose soon. Need to empty out all the clutter/stuff from it, vacuum, and get it cleaned up.

Today I did some cleaning in the living room, took out some trash, went to post office to pick up mail, went to the grocery store, unloaded groceries & put stuff away, cooked for Mom, broke up fights between kitties, fed kitties, and am resting. I was going to do more cleaning but my body said nope. I've learned not to overdo it. Got Mom some gloves so I could take back my favorite ones that she was borrowing. I looked for some with a similar fabric but in a bright pink color so she can find them easily. Mine are black and I got them at a 99cent store in Houston over 20 years ago. Her hands have been cold while she's using her computer.

Probably going to take a nap soon since my brain won't focus.
