Yes ! God gave us free will to choose our own destiny’s.
Now picture the shoe on the other foot, making simple ! complicated ! and that’s where flexible ideas and attitude’s are needed to help plug a leak while managing the water that already got through and Fl. + Texas just did that……. In other words, let’s embrace creativity, see the positive, rather than the negative. Even though their attitude may have started out as spiteful, the outcome just may go down in history as Saintly.
We are all conditioned differently, some with more empathy, some with less. That’s why the two party system functions through the dysfunction, because going all in on one side of any situation usually yields less empathy on the other side. No side will ever create Function out of human dysfunction and that’s why they created the two parties, It’s the built in shock absorber
to keep us on the road moving forward. Trust the process, and keep those guns holstered, but I do thank you for having my more empathetic back, just in case someone wants to take advantage. Sorry! Just rambling

You know, I would be way more empathetic, if us, as US Citizens, could jump the border southerly, and get free housing, medical care, food, phones, transportation, and a monthly stipend thru a credit card.
Nope, we jump the border and we end up in jail. We get nothing. Hell, we as Americans cannot even purchase property in Mexico. The best we can get is a 99 year lease, but prohibits any owning of property.

Empathy is a good thing. That said reality trump's empathy. We either care so much we disolve all of our borders, send barges and cruise ships to poor and impoverished countries and bring back everyone that wants a better life in the USA......
...or we keep closed borders and allow in whatever number of people we need to, to add to our work force.
Is if fair to only let a limited number of people in each year?

The wind farm in Mt. Pulaski has been running for 3 1/2 years. They have been replacing the generators in all the wind towers. There are 100 of them in this wind farm. So evidently the life span on the generators on these things is about 3 to 4 years. It takes 12 semi trucks and trailers, A 9 axle 500,000 pound crane, A 100,000 pound crane and 12 pick up trucks to change each generator. That is a huge amount of diesel fuel being used to maintain these wind towers. And the "Green Groups" would like You to believe they are all fueled by magic fairy dust.

Hey havasu, Let’s keep it real and dive a little deeper into the attitude / virtue of empathy. Are we capable of giving it ?
The key word I’m focusing on with the above quote is ‘ IF ‘ ….If, or ‘ if only ‘ demonstrates our human dysfunction around the word empathetic. Empathy is understanding someone’s plight, separate from an attitude of judgment. It’s not easy, especially if we and I have grown up with an internal believe that empathy is a virtue for the weak. The reality is ‘ Empathy is a virtue pursued, never mastered, due to our Human dysfunction. The inability to completely separate from ourselves.
Hey, I’m no more special than the next person, but ! I believe we have a responsibility to give direction when human dysfunction shows up around us. My brother redirected me today when mine shown up, and I’m still a little pissed about it , but ! grateful he was brave enough to confront me. So ! Let’s try to get back on track and pursue ‘ Real Empathy ‘ the kind that leaves you out and others in.

When we change the way we look at things the things we look at change. Just for the sake of argument, 50 % of Americans thought we where the laughing stock under The previous President. Who’s right ? …… No one is Right, life is subjective not absolute. We are all Jacked up on Mountain Dew, Monday morning quarterbacking, media judgemental mode. Get behind sleepy Joe ! What did Abraham Lincoln say ? Something like this “ Do I not destroy my enemy’s when I make them my friend.” ?
Keep it Real, Joe is in, he is not, get over it, tune him out and get on board. Be a part of the solution, even if he fails in a big way, a lesson will be learned. From my perspective, pick up a bailing bucket, or jump ship. Fraud or no fraud, it’s History and we need to let his Ego Go ! And ours ! ! ! For the good of the country and the world. I agree ! When one side ( Dems in this case ) attack below the belt with personal judgmental rhetoric, I believe Two things tend to happen, based on what side you’re on. One side affirms the judging and the other recents it. It’s kinda like a tattletale and that’s why it’s always a bad idea to personally attack someones character, even if it’s warranted.
Remember I suggested some type of controls around freedom of speech, in earlier posts. Both parties would benefit from this and we the people would have more civility in our society.
Remember when Hillary said He was unfit for office? I believe she lost lots of votes over that judgmental comment.
