Why don't you move from that hellhole?
Everything happens for a reason, especially insurance companies trying to minimize risk and maximize profits. The fact that it’s on the communistic side becomes irrelevant. Unless ! the field of vision or conviction is so attached that the bigger relevance is denied 🙅‍♂️…… IMHO, When we become less reactive our brains expand the vision and give understanding where we never had it before, then all of a sudden the leftists could start looking different 🤷🏻‍♂️

In modern society’s where we pool resources like homeowners insurance, there will always be concessions. I would not like it either, and I would probably respond with a work around idea. Example: get all the California ( sorry I spelled it wrong 😜 ) NRA members to send a letter stating that they will not comply with the questionnaire. Group money could talk, but no expectations 😉

When Obamacare started, they wanted a questionaire for Drs to give new patients over who owned guns. Patriot Act wanted libraries to keep a list of what books people read. It is a constant barrage from communists in this country.
Countries that require gun registration has been so they could confiscate them later.
My state has a law that prohibits gun registration.

Obama Insurance, fortunately or unfortunately is mandated by government but administered by privately owned Republican and Democratic leaning organizations and they will follow free marketing business principles over party principles every day of the week.

The Patriot Act, library book analysis is another happening that comes with a reason behind it, and does that reason fall into a category of Reasonable ? IMHO YES ! But Again ! Depending on our conviction levels, the reason becomes scrutinized differently, and that’s cool 😎 As long as we refrain from overthinking or exaggerating…… Some Liberal ideas go to far, but that comes with the territory of free speech. If we keep calling them communist, others will jump on that bandwagon and call them communist too. NOW! free speech becomes a cost, a fear of repercussions by a group who think their interpretation is the only one to follow ( good intentions gone wild ) ….. and doesn’t that sound less than Democratic ?

As for the guns, we have a constitutional right to own them. Trust the document and allow reasonable gun control measures to exist to mitigate RISK

If I had my way, I'd leave this hell hole tomorrow. My G/F's granddaughter lives about 6 miles from us, and she (we) won't move unless the daughter and granddaughter move. They are currently looking at moving to Arkansas or Florida. Well, if so, have a good life because I will move to Arizona, where I look at and dream about buying there daily. Since I retired on a permanent injury, I am tax free, so I myself do not feel the pain as many tax payers do. Florida is way to humid for me and Arkansas is...well, Arkansas.

Prescott is my choice. We owe 13 months, and this house will be paid for. I believe we will get a weekend house there once we pay off the house. I'll take advantage of the 2nd Amendment amenities and the lower taxes, but still have this house for great medical treatment.

Missouri is nice away from the major cities.

My a hole friend just moved to Missouri. If i moved there, the state couldn't handle two a holes in one state
Oh yeah, I have one next door. Every time I hear a loud boom, I figure he dropped his ego. But I try to be nice to him. He had some tree limbs over near his driveway and I told him to just put them on my trailer with mine. He is a city council man.

Next door neighbor syndrome:
Not everyone gets it, like the Hatfield and McCoy’s, but most of us do. What is it ?
It’s a relentless effort to remain neutral with our language and attitude around our neighbors because we understand how important it is to keep peace in our personal space and the adjacent space as well. Plus you never know when you’re going to need a favor or barrow something to get a honey due item off your back. A bleeding heart Liberal neighbor trumps over a nagging wife every time, unless she has a gun 😜

Expand that principle / syndrome to the end of the block and now you have a block party….. Expand it even further into the community and you have a Community Day carnival, and so on.

Politicians work for us, let’s demand a code of conduct, and credentials from various disciplines that we the people deem necessary for leadership.

No offense, but I am at a loss because of your words. "What you trying to say, Willis?"

Bitting your tongue, when it comes to personal beliefs will keep the peace, for our next door or political neighbors, but Beaver’s father said it best yesterday on Metv ….. Improve rather than Prove because in the end does it really matter.

Our neighbor to the other side has not spoken to us since we moved in 7 years ago. This house had been empty for a couple years and he had been using our driveway to take his trailer out. He got mad because we were using our driveway. Pretty sure he stole the tomatoes out of our garden too.

Interesting how people will assume that because they could do it before since no one was using the property, that they can just do it without even talking to the new neighbor about continued use for convenience and maybe just to say hello and introduce yourself.

Sadly, most neighbors don't get to know each other unless their kids play with each other. Children unite neighborhoods. I was fortunate to have a great neighbor at my last home whom I am very good friends with. We helped each other with projects and we even did some vacationing together as he was willing to include me in trips up to the family farm to go fishing in northern MN. Miss that guy...I'm 2 states away now. My new neighbors aren't bad, but mostly keep to themselves, though I will say most people will wave or say hi as you drive or walk past them if they are outside.

It takes effort to get to know each other, and we have so many things that distract us from doing that- we have a hard enough time doing that in a packed room with our phones taking our attention away from the room. Worst and best things that evolved in our lifetimes. Generations of knowledge at our fingertips - Candy Crush and Facebook swooning to occupy most of our free time.
We moved and sold our old home because when we bought there, it was all owner occupied in the neighborhood. 26 years later when we moved, it was almost all rentals that no one maintained. Even a couple drug houses.

Imho, rental homes would serve society much better if the lease contracts came with a purchase option. It may not be a guarantee of maintenance, but it probably would help.

As an aside ( Z’s famous line 😉)
What does California have in common with many Red States ? 🤩 ….. No Sports Betting. I find that amazing and a reason for hope. 😎

Wish I'd had the guts to buy some Bitcoin-----just for a trade. I don't understand the whole concept so I suspect it's a fad and behaving like tulips,

Anyways, it might be the case that our currency-------status as World's Reserve Currency might be just as much of a tulip as bitcoin. I like gold and silver and I like to have it for real, not in some accounting ledger at a Wall Street Casino.
