I believe in the Constitution. Very few guns obtained legally are used in crimes. Most criminals are repeat offenders. Have a mandatory sentence of 20 years if a gun is used in a crime.
Missouri, where I live, is one of the states with the most gun crimes. But almost all of it is in St Louis and Kansas City, both Democratic controlled. Both, mostly black and both very soft on crime. As crime has escalated there, they have cut the number of police. Prosecution of gun crimes is rare. Most black people vote for Democrats and they won't offend their base. There are neighborhoods in both cities where a white person should not go. Most black people won't go in them either after dark. I won't have my gun rights restricted because someone else uses one in a crime.

I believe in constitutional amendments when necessary and anyone under 100 years of age, purchasing a gun for the first time, with no affiliation to the NRA OR GUN CLUB SPONSOR IS An AUTOMATIC RED FLAG ….. if any nra member is against that request to help mitigate a higher percentage of risk, SHAME ON YOU AND THE JACK *** YOU ROAD IN ON, because it will not effect your constitutional right one iota. You may have to pay a little more for the gun, but ! If it was me ! I would make the Insurance companies share the expense. Less risk Equals less claims

They are frustrated and trying to improve, but If my ego and your ego keep colliding and no one is willing to admit fault, in order to stroke an unhealthy ego, then we will remain stuck, or is that Fuc _ed

…..That’s why FAULT NEEDS TO BE removed, and blame needs to be removed, because it serves no forward progress! ! The ‘ right and wrong ‘ philosophy is for **** ! It keeps the focus on judging rather than directing.

The next time you find yourself in a conflicted situation, like loading the dishwasher , ask yourself? Why did I do it that way ? And ! If you have a valid reason, then what you did was not wrong, even if the glass got broken….. It was a mistake, ooooops ! You will NOT take my gun rights, period. NRA members are never involved in gun crime. Look it up. The NRA wrote the 4473, the form you must pass to buy a gun. It is a felony to lie on the form. Out of the first 11,000 caught lying on the form, they prosecuted 11. We don't need new gun laws. There are 10,000 gun laws on the books. Enforce those.

As long as the purpose doesn't include more gun laws/limits.......
...we have enough. The only discussion is preventing those that shouldn't have guns from owning them.

I'd agree that inflation has very different consequences for different types of Americans. Some do well when the stock market and real estate values explode upward offsetting their rising cost of living----two HUGE indicators of inflation that are not included as inflation the way it's measured????? When I look at the chart of the Dow or S&P I see inflation. But that doesn't count..

Those on fixed incomes are amongst the worse off when rent, utilities, insurance, food and medical care prices go NUTS. And in my eyes those prices are absolutely going nuts. Now my wife and I are both retired so I've had to recalibrate all our plans. How do you allow for such high price increases year over year if you might just live another 25 years but your income will be ruined and destroyed? (compound interest of inflation)

Culturally, as well it's hard to disagree that there's ongoing destruction and ruination of the most basic elements of our shared Western civilization. As far as the Constitution I wonder if those in political power ever had much sincere regard for it's integrity.
