On "Fox & Friends" Monday, Brandon Tatum, director of urban engagement for Turning Point USA, said he helped organize the summit, and it was a "special" and "historic" four-day event.

"Four hundred black leaders from all over the country able to be in the White House and hear from the president," Tatum said, adding it was a gathering of enthusiastic, inspiring free thinkers.

He said he has a message for Sharpton: "He should be ashamed of himself."
These kids were not brought there in chains and shackles. They were enthusiastic and wanted to come. I'd love to see 10 of these kids interview Sharpton after his divisive comments.

Those are my pups, the black is named Clyde,95 lbs, the 2 Great Pyrenees are Sallie and Scout. Scout is now a 90 lb 7 month puppy and soon Sallie will be an unwed mother, the father is Scout, who is unemployed with no real prospects for gainful employment,
I thought maybe I had imagined you, it has been so long.

It will be interesting to see how this 105 measure comes out here in Oregon. I can see both sides of the story.
..however the following is a reason why laws need to be enforced.
You can't have different layers of law enforcement fighting against each other.

Ballot Measure 105 would repeal the country’s oldest sanctuary state law, passed almost unanimously in Oregon in 1987. It bars local police from using resources to enforce immigration law.

“Oregon has laid out the welcome mat for people to come into our country illegally,” said Cynthia Kendoll, President of OIR. “On one hand we say, ‘don’t try to cross our border,’ on the other hand we say, ‘if you get here, we’ll take care of you.”

“This ballot measure is about Oregon, our Oregon values of fairness and how we treat each other,” said Andrea Williams, executive director of Causa and leader of the No on Measure 105 campaign. “It’s also about a law that we passed 31 years ago that has been working really well for us.”

But 16 sheriffs from across Oregon say the law is not working. Citing safety and respect for the law, they signed a letter supporting a repeal of the law. Among the examples they point to is Sergio Martinez, an illegal immigrant convicted of sexually assaulting two women in Portland last year and sentenced to 35 years in prison.

Just days before the attack, Martinez was in the Multnomah County Jail. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents requested a detainer until they could get him. But citing the sanctuary law, Multnomah County Sheriff Mike Reese ignored the detainer request and released Martinez, even though he had already been deported 13 times.
Fellow sheriffs in Oregon and the Western States Sheriff’s Association say that’s wrong.
“When people have committed a crime, and they’re being hidden and released back into society and they do more crimes, I think that’s the worst thing you could possibly do,” said Morrow County Sheriff Ken Matlack.

"Mike Reese ignored the detainer request and released Martinez, even though he had already been deported 13 times."

Another reason for building the wall is because apparently it's easy for one person to keep crossing the border illegally.

So Trump is going to do away with "birthright". don't let the constitution get in the way.

The 14th Amendment:



"All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."

Even Democrats can be honest once in a while. ;)

During an interview on Friday, Clinton made the quip while correcting Recode's Kara Swisherabout who recently goaded on Democratic voters by rhetorically encouraging them to "kick" Republicans when they "go low."

After Clinton noted how she adores Booker, Swisher asked the former secretary of state what she thought about this "kick them" remark.

"Well, that was Eric Holder," Clinton noted.

"Eric Holder, oh, Eric Holder, sorry," Swisher said.

"Yeah, I know they all look alike," Clinton quipped to a wave of laughter and applause in the room.
 
More likely self inflicted to make his base more unhappy than they already are.
Don't be fooled, we're as happy as we were on election night watching the ABC NBC and CBS anchors try not to cry as the polling data came to it's glorious finale. :p Second term is going to be even more MAGAnificent.
