Although I really don't know what the above is actually referring to, but I can assure you that if all states were equal, the corruption embedded within our government would be lessened drastically.
That is the amount of tax per gallon, in your state it is 70.87 cents per gallon. The highest in the country.
Yep. Obviously needed money to help pay for our lazy welfare cheats and the others who believe that "we" owe it to "them."

Seattle increased it to $15.00. Probably because there are over 100 Starbucks in Seattle and they all pay minimum. That's just too much.
Everyone has their problems. The rural area where I live, the FBI lists as the meth capital of the U.S.

Is there a lot of farming in your area? The anhydrous ammonia is used to make meth here. At least that is what they tell us.
Farming, fishing, foresting............ deforesting.
It's a pretty common addiction here. Not sure about the number of meth labs, but it's use is heavy in out county. An ingredient in a cold medication is used to make it, so our governor made it illegal to make more than a small purchase at one time. If you purchase more than a certain amount there are hoops to jump or forms to sign. I think that has helped slow down the labs a little bit. Unemployment seems to go hand in hand with the meth addiction.

They made the same laws here. Hasn't seemed to help.
