The local news is reporting a station in California is selling gas for $1.99. Woo-hoo!

$2.19 is the lowest here. 50 miles north it's $1.99 at 4 stations. Wow.... I never thought that it would get below $2.35 here.
I filled up the van at Safeway and with three discount points, it was $1.94. Made me smile. :)

That 3000 mark is making you stutter High. ;) I agree. There's way to much oil sitting around for the price to change much at all. Having said that, diesel went up 6 cents in three days here.

Just paid $2.59 a gallon, up about $.50 a gallon in a week!

LOS ANGELES - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today for the 12th consecutive day, increasing 3.6 cents to $2.742.

The average price has risen 28.3 cents over the past 12 days, including 2.2 cents on Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 21.5 cents more than one week ago and 11.6 cents higher than one month ago, but 97.4 cents less than one year ago thanks to 24 decreases in the 25 days immediately before the current string of increases began.

The 12-day streak of increases is the longest since a 13-day streak from April 4-16 last year.

The Orange County average price also rose for the 12th consecutive day, increasing 3.6 cents to $2.731.

The Orange County average price has risen 29.9 cents over the past 12 days, including 2.6 cents on Tuesday. It is 22.1 cents higher than one week ago and 13.5 cents more than one month ago. However, it is 97.5 cents lower than one year ago thanks to 23 decreases in 24 days immediately before the current string of increases began.

The 12-day streak of increases is the longest since an 18-day streak from March 31-April 17 last year.
