You can take images as long as you want with digital cameras as long as the battery doesn't die. That image was 89, 30 second exposures stacked on top of eachother.

................so it was a 45 minute exposure. Wow, I was a long ways off. I'm losing my touch.

Do those penguins have names? They don't look real shy, so I'm wondering if they are paid actors for the cruise guests.

We received some unexpected snow today and my wife has always wanted to take photos in her wedding dress in the snow so we trekked out into it to see what we could do. Here's a few from the set. She's extremely self conscious so I was completely shocked when she wanted to be on the front side of the camera. It was a rare opportunity for me.

I'm waiting for Jon to share a photo of himself in the cold of Antarctica. If he does, I bet he won't have that same happy glow on his face.

Thanks fellas. And yes I completely agree about this not being much snow. We haven't had a large snowfall for 3ish years since we got 18 inches.

That was a good photo but you wouldn't be catching me with clothes like that even in our warm winters

Wow, everything perfect. You have a raft coming ashore on the left, the ship in the background to the right, plenty of color in the foreground, a super curvy cloud above because of your excellent choice of lens setting, and people below marching in a row. So much going on and it tells your entire story in one shot! Bravo Jon. You done good.
..............keep em coming as you have time.
