Here is some of our weather today and this week. The sunny ones are today.

We are supposed to get above freezing today. I hope so, everything is covered with ice.

3' of snow last night and ice plus a high of 16 , now it is a case when is the wind going to blow.. We still have 1000's without power since Sat night. They some won't get it until around the first.

We have been lucky so far. People all around here had outages, including next door. But we have kept ours.

Love that old tree in the yard, the 6th one down and the street view with the trees and car tracks in the snow. You're getting artistic there Daris. I hope Jon has been practicing with his camera.

It stopped raining today for a little while so the beaches came back

Another Kiwi who is coming with us has just bought a Nikon 7100 and as he says an almighty zoom lens so I will talk to him nicely and pinch some of his photos

It is a kit car, but still the same it is fun to ride in. I rode with him in Back to the Bricks a year ago. Something like 14 miles of car cruise.

There is always someone worse off than you. My cousin's new house, yesterday. Only thing they saved was the dogs.

Things like that always are a shame. You don't know how much you have and then there is nothing.

They had just sold the home they had lived in for years and moved into this one about two months ago. Luckily, it was after Christmas. Their grown daughters were there for that and had gone home.
