That guy is old school testament trying to warn us about complacency in his own special fearful way. SO ! Continue Taking it literally and miss the real point about personal responsibility, while placing the blame on others who are not being complacent……, BUT ! Take it figuratively and heed the warning about complacency and how it’s a personal responsibility to not fall lazily into, otherwise we may find ourselves in a weaker position than we started. ….. It’s not about controlling others, it’s about controlling ourselves.

A friend of mine was offered sick money for his successful business ( maybe from China ) We asked him why not take the money and run ? His answer was,
( translated by me ) Deuteronomy …. lead with your head, not the tail, because When complacency becomes the norm vulnerability creeps in from afar.

Seriously, his concern is for his workers and their families. Now here’s the kicker, he’s both a Democrat and an Atheist ! One of the best humans I know ! You can’t judge a book by its cover.

If It was up to me, I would start a Business Ethics Association that certifies Companies who prioritize American families first and shareholders second.

We’re the only country that allows A LOT of things to happen that other countries don’t. Just like many other things, I don’t worry about it because there’s nothing I can do about it. Worrying about **** that is beyond my control is a one way ticket to misery.

And that’s exactly what Hollywood is doing too ! but maybe, and understandably to radical for acceptance. When we push for change extremely,
( woke liberals or even woke conservatives ) the push back comes in like form. Darn, eye for an eye Old Testament. But when we listen to opposition with universal understanding in the knowledge that humans exaggerate points and desperately seek to satisfy weakened egos, THEN ! our eye for an eye can get toned down, leaving the opponents eyes intact and the opportunity to correct/ improve, with full vision. In other words, when we say
“ MAKE MY DAY “ let’s literally be friendly and try to make someone’s day by not pissing them off, and leave the movie version of retribution against evil to the actor Dirty Harry

People are worth understanding and forgiveness but the behavior needs to be addressed……….I would have returned half the Oscars and made a statement demonstrating understanding for both sides…. Where in the world is this brave influential person, who doesn’t take sides, but values the whole ?

Shoot, I figured you would be a definite picnicker. Put one of them roasted chickens and some bread, maybe even some pop tarts, in the ol picnic basked and find a nice spot overlooking the ocean. Instant picnic.

Honestly, that type of picnic sounds great. Don't try this in Kalifornia, you'll be stabbed, raped, and then they will eat your food before crapping on your blanket. This is what the democrats wanted, and they have delivered.
