Mark Twain is really Sam Clemens. 🤔
I gave this article a short read this morning. It’s Amazing how some people’s works and words continue to give value today, above, beyond, and despite their personal struggles.

Today’s bench is brought to you by Kay Montoya. Thank you, Kay.

We have some at a local lake that were donated. They have a scene cut in the back that is a steam locomotive. The lake was used for water for steam locomotives in the 1800s.

Shits getting too damn weird for me out there in the wild’s. Men women, women men, and fuck if I know what their called’s.

It’s getting to the point of dreading going anywhere because I don’t want to be bothered by nonsense & people asking me for money.

Think this is what our forefathers died for to become independent? 🤔

Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right. Here we are!

Nope, they/them.
If they/ them corrected me on the proper pronouns, I would do my best to oblige, but would feel no shame if I slipped up.

Only time will tell if this type of shenanigans is for real or if it’s some type of attention seeking art form experimentation thing ? Either way, freedom of expression is on their side and one can only hope it becomes short lasting 🤞

I believe you can be whatever you want. I also believe you can get made fun of. Might not be right but it is the way it is. Kinda bugs me when these alternative people cry fowl when they get made fun of. Look, we’re not marking fun of you because you’re Lmonp, we’re making fun of you because you look stupid. There is a difference and it does matter.

There's hoarding and there's preserving.
It's a long video, but skip ahead to get a glimpse of what this man acquired and how well he organized much of his collection.
There will be thousands of very happy auction goers during this next year.
It a collection of the best of everything.

Oh yeah, it gets worse. Here's this afternoon. I straightened the back of the step, got it padded and the pattern is ready to cut out.
Couple of "between you and me" questions.
How expensive are private detectives and in a small town with lots of hills and logging roads..... do they usually find the body?

I wrapped the step with red rosin paper tight and accurately like a precision wrapped birthday present, then to position the seam edge accurately, stapled that wood strip on to the underside of the step. In this picture, I had already cut the pattern paper from around the guide strip...... so you're not seeing my pattern here.
When I position the carpet accurately against the wood strip and tack it in place, there will be almost no trimming to do on the rest of the stair except doing the second half of the seam.
The two strips of tape are lineup marks transferred to the back of the carpet.
This is from the previous step. Once the carpet is butted up and tacked against the wood strip, I'll remove it when I'm ready to trim the other 1/2 of the seam edge
Pain in the ass? 🙄
I should have told them adding risers would have made this easier and cheaper........ I thought of that a little late, on the way home. 🤧
