Whenever I visit the dentist, I am required to take 4 mega doses of antibiotics before any cleaning or work is done, or the infection will go into my knee replacements and will cause a massive infection in them.

I'm required to take one massive dose the day before the cleaning so it doesn't go to my heart because I have the two prolapsed valves. It's not terrible, but it's a minor inconvenience. I need to schedule a cleaning soon and see about getting my filling redone bc the filling came out of one of my upper molars.

Working on a 1 BR apartment job. Owner installed the Cortec in the 9X6 kitchen. There's some sort of adhesive in the seams making them dirty looking.
The paneling got painted over the weekend...... no primer and you can easily scrape the paint off with your fingernail................... or a slight brush from the carpet backing touching it.

Just finished 800 sqft of Coretec. Only this product is thinner than what I'm used to installing. Prosource is stocking it.

It has no cork on the back.

That's what I noticed on this job. No cork. Is that the only difference between the two products?
Yesterday I took my brother to the dentist for his tooth pulling and then we went to meet with the mechanics who will be working on his truck and also met with the tow truck driver who moved his truck to the shop. Today I went by to drop off the control arms that will be installed. I pulled up and the shop was all closed up despite it still being open hours. My brother's truck was in the middle of the parking lot unlocked with the hood up-- in the rain. When I pulled up, one of the workers came out and unlocked the door and asked what I was there for. I told him and he put the control arms in the back seat of my brother's truck (which is how I realized it was unlocked). They better put the hood down and lock it when they close though. If his navigation system or headlights get stolen, I'll be pissed.
I was told its the same product .
The plus ( cork back) seams to score and snap much easier I.m.o.

Cutting and pasting my post from the house repair forum bc I'm lazy and I'm about to take a nap.
Today was not so good. I went to take the cat to the vet for some shots and my mother wanted me to stop by the post office to get packages first. I had my arms full and couldn't really see while going down the stairs at the post office and misjudged the last step. Twisted BOTH of my ankles on my way down. I stepped on the top of my right foot and scraped it up, ankle twisted. I tried to catch myself with my other foot, but bc I had misjudged where the ground was, I twisted my left ankle and crashed to the ground.
Kid across the street was the only one who saw and came running over to check on me. He tried to help me up, but I am probably twice his weight. Sheriff was driving by and saw me on the ground and came over to see what happened. He put my packages in the truck for me and offered to call EMTs. I declined since I don't have insurance and he waited to make sure I could stand and walk. Went straight to the vet's office and asked for "vet wrap" and used what little I remember from my college First Responder course 20 years ago and wrapped my ankles and then elevated them.
Drive home was not fun and carrying the cat back in to the house was even less fun, but I'm lying down now with my feet up. No ice and it's now 89 degrees in here. I have a sound file from Youtube of winter windstorm to make me feel cooler though.

I know! My luck had been too good lately. And I really should have listened to the tiny voice in my head that suggested I should take the ramp instead. Next time I'm taking the ramp. Of course, knowing my luck I'd trip there too.O lordy Zannej, you need to take a day off. ....starting yesterday.
There are a lot of misadventures around here. One of these days, if anyone is interested, I might start parsing up the memoirs my father had been writing and share them. He led an interesting life. Some of the stuff got lost on an old hard drive before he passed away and he didn't get to re-write it, but he had quite a bit about his younger days and his experiences in Vietnam.Hope you fell better Z .. I'm going to keep reading your posts till the movie comes out ..

Jon, LOL! Yeah, between my luck and my other unlucky friend's luck we would not want to go to a casino.
My mother has been moving around a bit more because I can't run back and forth doing stuff for her. I think it's better for her. And it was good to hear my cousin's voice even if I dialed by accident.
Left foot doesn't look injured from the outside but is tender. Right one looks ugly.
I'm limiting my walking and keeping them both elevated. I put triple antibiotic on the scrapes on the top of my foot and covered it in gauze. Still not as bad as when I busted my left ankle years ago though.

Spent last evening in the ER. BP was 88/51. Got an IV. Finally went up to 102/62 and they sent me home. 122/80 today. I have chronic kidney disease, so I have to keep BP down, but not that low.
That is scary. What attributed to it?
I guess, dehydrated from one of my meds.
