Sports go sports! ?
I have no idea. LOL. My father didn't like sports so we never grew up caring or knowing much about them.

Took my friend's girlfriend to the store and got her some shoes for a wedding. Poor thing has tiny feet-- she can fit in a size 4 dress shoe for women. Although she had to try on some children's shoes. For some reason the shoe sizes go from like 12 & 13 in kids and then there is size 1 which is larger than 13. A 13.5 was too tight but a 1 was too loose. She was trying to get me to help her with shoe and dress sizes and I told her she asked the wrong person. I know I wear XL or 2XL (depending on the garment) and size 8.5 to 9 shoes.
And apparently for dresses she wears a size zero. She tried on a size 4 that looked like a giant sack and was 10inches too long (she's only 5' tall and weighs about 70lbs).
Meanwhile, I've been doing laundry again. I dissected two rotisserie chickens and put the meat in a ziplock bag so they can be used in burritos and sandwiches (although I saw my brother just reaching in and eating handfuls of the chicken).

I need to hit the store tomorrow to get tortillas and milk.

On the bright side, when I cooked corned beef hash for my mother she said it was "very good"-- she normally doesn't praise things. Her saying something is "OK" is usually high praise. Adding garlic salt seemed to help.

Patriots will have an easy day. ....by 17
Tight game. Starting with a 1st quarter field goal. Tied at half time, and ending with a touchdown in the 4th quarter, then they'll recover a fumble with 3 minutes to go. Easy peasy. :D

I wouldn't bet on it ..
I won't. I'll put $5 on one square and hope for the best. I'm not good at games of skill. :D
17 Nick, and don't forget it. Eagles will get caught off guard a couple of times, then choke like a chicken for the entire 4th quarter. It's vision, Nick................. came like a stroke of lightning in the middle of the night. Once awoken from a deep sleep, I wrote it down. I have seen the future. ;)

The vet said my cat might have a brain tumor which is triggering seizures in her sleep-- explaining the twitching and peeing in her sleep. Said the only thing we can do is try to make her comfortable and he prescribed some medicine that is supposed to stop seizures. Had to fill the RX at Walmart since it's a controlled substance. Clerk asked if the child was insured- I said "She's a cat. It's to stop seizures". The clerk laughed and said "Ok, then I guess she won't have any ID so I'll have to look at yours". Thus far she hasn't been twitching in her sleep, although one of the cats peed on the waterproof mattress cover I sleep under. Don't know which one though. Could have been the sick cat or could have been the old cat who sometimes can't hold it in.

One of the new kittens has his eyes open now & he hisses at the light. LOL.

Something is wrong with your software, all my pics show straight up on FB or in messaging or if I email them to myself.

Thanks again Nick. Guess I'll have to shoot straight up for here.
Anyway coulda used some help. Five to ten hard hits just to make a hole. Cast iron tubs are tubs are tough and thicker than your frying pan.

I want to take a sledgehammer to my mother's one-piece tub/shower, but I'm afraid I'll break the surrounding walls bc they are 1/8" wood paneling.

Yesterday I dispensed mes to the pets (had to put the sick kitty's liquid medicine in milk and coax her in to drinking it bc she kept spitting it up when I forced it into her mouth). I cleaned a wound on one cat's face (he got into a fight). He was growling and fussing, but the hydrogen peroxide softened the scab enough to allow the cyst to start draining-- smells like rotten milk. I tried to wipe it in a pattern that mimicked licking to make it less unpleasant for him. He let me hug him afterward, even though he was upset about the pain from the cleaning.
Took my friend's gf to the store to get new skivvies bc her washer is broken and the dog chewed her last clean pair. I explained to her how to hand-wash them, but I don't think it sunk in.

Got a rotisserie chicken fresh out of the oven at Walmart deli and de-boned it when I got home. They had overcooked it so the outer crispy parts went to the dog. It will be used in soups, sandwiches, and burritos in the next few days.

The mother cat moved her kittens in to a bad spot (near the foot of the bed under a blanket where I almost stepped on them). I put a box in that spot, padded it with a torn sweater of mine and a microfiber rag, put the kittens in, put the mother in, covered it partway with a blanket, and she seems to be happy about it for now. Babies can't crawl too far, won't get stepped on, and it's still covered and seems safe to her. Hopefully she won't move them again.

I'm supposed to go to Alexandria with my mother today but it depends on how she's feeling. She got a letter from her new sleep study doctor informing her that he's closing his practice so she'll have to find a replacement. He was the only one we knew of who took Medicare, so it's going to be a pain finding another one. And she'll need someone to approve of her replacement parts for her CPAP. She was supposed to have another appointment in February to discuss the readings from the machine on her sleep habits and so forth. Not sure if he'll still be open.

I've also been re-thinking the design for the new layout of my laundry room. I was thinking of leaving the partial wall with the light switches so I could run plumbing in it, but now I'm wondering if that would be a good idea. It would make it harder to access the back of the washing machine and might just be awkward. So, I'm thinking of taking it out, furring out the external wall behind the washer (bumping it in a few inches), running plumbing through there- so it won't interfere with insulation and get as cold in winter & won't have to poke through thicker wood for the load-bearing wall. It would allow me to bump the washer over a little more so there will be more space for storage in the corner. Before I wasn't as worried about the cold, but this winter was brutal on the pipes so I want to make sure everything is wrapped up as warmly as possible.

On that front, I'm trying to find a good pet door that will be large enough for the chiweenie and fat cats but will not allow larger animals through. My brother somehow broke the existing door/flap and I don't think I can find a replacement-- furthermore, I discovered it was the source of the cold/hot air leaking in to the house (prior to it breaking). So, I need a flap that keeps the weather out but that can be locked when I want to keep the animals in or keep possums out (when all the pets are in).

Just saw a cast tub demo a couple days ago on TV. You look better protected then they were.

Yeah lots of sharp porcelain chips flying about, very dangerous. I watched some funny youtube videos on the subject. Basically the sledge hammer is the only way, sawsall..nope, grinder takes forever, demo hammer...won't do nuthiing cept chip the porcelain.

I wouldn't suggest you try it zannej.
