LOL. I was born in San Francisco and a lot of my family members live in San Diego/Chula Vista area. In some ways I miss it there. I'm sure the technology and public transportation is better. But, there is no way we could afford a decent home there now. The house near my late friend's house sold for something like $5k because they were so desperate to sell. My late friend's property (with 2 houses, workshop, storage shed, and greenhouse that took up about 3 lots) sold for around $25k from what I heard.
Ugh. MDF. I know a lot of people use that stuff, but I really am not fond of it. I don't like that or particle board, even though I've accepted that nowadays stuff I buy will have it. I try to find vinyl trim instead, but it's not very popular here for some reason.
I tried to sleep all through the night so I would be able to get up and be productive today, but my mother was up all night playing video games and woke me up a few times. First she wanted a midnight snack. Then she wanted me to put the leftovers away (which she could have put away herself but she won't even try). Then she wanted to ask me a question about the game she was playing. Don't even remember what it was now. And she wonders why my sleep schedule is messed up.
