My in-laws are coming up too. Luckily they drive their RV so they can go to it when I’ve had enough.

Low prices are nice but I don’t like sacrificing quality. I’ll pay more for a tool that will last me a lifetime. We got a new kid workin with us for the summer. He’s 17 and greener than a leprechaun. He might make it. Prolly not. He’s a pastors kid with a stay at home mom so I can’t go off on him too hard because I don’t think he’s ever been yelled at before. Last kid I went off on quit and moved back home with mom n dad. Good. At least he knows his place. I got on this kid for using my nail gun as if it was a hammer. When you start buyin your own tools, that’s when you can decide if you want to treat them like crap.

I went out to patio to see my wife, there were about 10 black crows, I clapped my hand twice and they flew away. I won’t state my comment.

highup vice versa, not versed in woven.

too much to read, way behind in estimates billing etc. (what I Didn’t do today topic)

one more thing Chris, you can save even more if you buy direct from China I got prices of larger grinders, 9500, 6500,2300, not same exact but which # looks better. Few other examples of sundry items but I’ll hold.

my wife nonchalantly mentions her parents are coming for the weekend, not much emotion in it, shouldn’t some guy on a horse come up yelling “the in-laws are coming, the in-laws are coming?”
Guess I was lucky. My in-laws were really good people. I miss them.

Got the day off today so I’m dinkin around the house. My UPS package arrived today. Got another saw blade. Gonna have to try the two of them out side by side and see which one takes the cake.

Got 3 hours sleep last night, getting tired. Have to take my grandson to work about 3 30. He is 16, a high school junior, works about 30 hours a week at Dairy Queen, and should soon be an Eagle scout. Oh and he has some yards he mows. He is taking welding class this fall and then auto mechanics.

Sounds like a dam good kid, smart, down to earth.

welding and electric are my regrets not learning.

Chris I assumed it was a PCD blade, might cost 1k $ to sharpen that many carbide.

Bought some more Milwaukee boots from Keen, the 20% off email got me an impulse buy. I’ll have 5 sets when my 20% off Zoro back order comes in.

Finished up an 1800 ft Dustless tile removal with Mapegard under using the ride on scraper, way easier than a chipping hammer.

Exactly right about the dictators and the slaughter of US natives. The Guatemalans were devastated. There was a movie many years back about the plight of a pair of young Guatemalans who came to the US through Mexico and pretended to be Mexican. Their paperwork didn't come back as legit and they were deported to Mexico. I think they ended up being killed. It was based on a true story and the whole point of the movie was to paint USINS as evil. My father watched that and told me that if they had just told the truth about being Mayans from Guatemala they would have been granted asylum.

There is a family lore tale about one of my Scott-Irish ancestors (a 16yr old boy) dressing as a girl to get evacuated off of a boat that was sinking. They were taking the girls and women off first. If he hadn't done it, he would have sunk with the ship. Not sure if there's any truth to it though.

Have to go check up on my friend. Last week his stove stopped working. This week his TV stopped working, X-Box stopped working, discovered his external hard drive (for backups) wasn't working, and the bumper fell off his car (I assume it's the back bumper but he didn't say which one). Also, he can't see his daughter because one of her classmates got Covid and she's being quarantined.

Oh man, and here I thought only I got all the fun.

Glad to see you took such an effort not to brake the computers.....ugh
School you say?
*********************
I found that box at a different school where they disconnected and boxed up the computers and moved them to storage bins. In this library they did not want to disconnect them so we had to shift them back and forth. One of the kids blew us off this AM so I had to pitch in and help move those 14' (6+8) onto the finished side. I think I hurt my back.

Guatemalans (Mayans) and Mexicans (Aztecs) hate each other. I have had friends from both countries.

On the immigration thing: There is a quota on how many people from specific countries can be allowed entry or allowed to naturalize during specific time periods. Some countries are allowed to bring in more than others. Not sure who sets the parameters. Asylum is a different beast though. They can expedite asylum cases if the immigrants are in imminent danger.

My arm and shoulder have been acting up and it's been too hot to spend more than a couple minutes outside. I picked up mail and then cooked for Mom. Found some Hungry Man turkey meals she likes. Mewlatto doesn't like the hot weather either but he is curled up on me. I don't have my camera on me but I just looked out the window and see a cloud that looks like pink cotton candy.

I was feeling nostalgic and looking at google maps of places I previously lived. Discovered there's a shop on Guam called "Coffee ****". LOL. Got more details of my old house in Virginia. Not so much detail on my old house in California though. Couldn't view my old house on Guam because it was on military housing so they won't allow it. My apartment building in Singapore was torn down years ago. I'm trying to think of other places we lived so I can look them up. My mom found that her high school was torn down.

I met a young man several years ago named "David" who was an illegal from Guatemala. He was Mayan and on the hit list. He got caught, was deported and we think executed. No one here ever heard from him again.

I've lived in four places. The farthest one is 7 miles away.

My wife’s friend gave a ride to some lady that murdered another person, I think she highjacked a car and ran the lady over. Walked up to her house and asked if she can take her to wildwood about 20 miles away, her being some kind of church person? (Supposed to help people) obliged. Police, helicopters all over my wife called her friend she told her situation and my wife suggested she call police.
