Less than 1 year till retirement! The countdown is on. September 2022.
I think I’m well set up. 32 years at Millersville with full pension, plus social security. The part D drug plans are a concern because of my insulin cost. I’m seeing some plans are charging only $35/month so that should be ok. I have a lot of time to sort through it.

And I am using an old Dell with W 7, and it is fast.

W7 is more vulnerable to attack because it isn’t being updated anymore. Ransomware is a big deal and having an out of date OS can put you at risk. That’s how Millersville got hacked. Took us 4 months to fully recover.

That’s what I use. Do yourself a favor and just order a gallon of mineral oil for your first and second seasoning because your countertops will drink that stuff up. $20 for a gallon vs $8 for 12 oz. Then there is the wax/ oil mix and that stuff is good too I think that’s the conditioner. I went a step further cus I’m crazy but I ordered Howard’s countertop wax and damn near buffed my countertops to a shine. It’s kinda like polishing the silverware before company comes over.

We've been at 3.89 for almost a year.

You ALWAYS need the narcotics man, ALWAYS. That way when you really need them, you have some at hand. That is how I built up my supply of hydromorphone. Always say yes, then never use them unless you need them. There are days I probably shouldn't legally drive, but ill be there doped to the sky laying floors because of back pain.

They don't do me any good anyway. Narcos don't work on me. I have an extremely high resistance to them so they don't do jack squat for me. Heating pads and chocolate worked better. I'm fine with Naproxyn for back pain. Another reason I don't buy meds I don't plan to use is that I don't have insurance & have to pay out of pocket. It gets expensive.

Heated seats help with back pain.

I'm tired today so I'm trying to rest. Legs have been charlie horsing so I need to take vitamins. Need to take my other meds and wait a few hours first though.

Good Golly Jon!! I almost fell over paying 1.57 for Diesel the other day, but you win again it would appear. You got my by a whole dollar on premium too.
I bet you pay a lot less for Kiwi than I do though, although it is rather a moot point seeing as I am not positive I have ever purchased one.....

So you’re paying almost $10/ gallon?? This is a typical day at the gas station for my van in Phoenix. That means I’d be paying $275 to fill my van in NZ! No wonder you’re fine with the lock downs.

I cannot remember the last time someone mentioned the name Bill Dance. It seemed he enjoyed putting on the outtakes from his Saturday fishing show. He always seemed to fall out of the boat or trip over a fishing rod or something kind of silly.
I've never heard the song or seen this video. What a fabulous tribute to this fishing icon and entertainer.

Hmm.. if i start swimming now with the trade currents being what they are this time of year I think you could expect my corpse to show up sometime in 2024 but I cannot be sure that posthumously I would be of much assistance

It really does look good though, or last kitchen was on its last legs and frankly I needed that room to make another bedroom for my ever increasing brood of children. When we moved into this 960 sqft nightmare that calls itself a home we had one child, ONE, now we have three and three kids in one bedroom was not quite going to cut it. Something needed to be done so I dun-did-it. I think that is how that goes.
