He's got a barn over there with a bunch of other cars, I'd like to see those too but.....
While working in this apartment, my brother noticed something odd about this painting. Can you spot it.
The guy that I was talking about having that Buick or Oldsmobile. He worked at GM years ago as an engineer I think in the body panel department. In one separate Bay in his shop he has a metal storage rack and each shelf has towels on them with tricarb intake manifolds and those Mopar cross ram manifolds. I can't remember but he must have at least a dozen. They're all clean and pretty sitting on terry cloth towels on the shelves.Yea I think this guy bought whatever he could make a profit on. They were coming and going all the time. I’d love to see his private collection.
I know the old GTOs in the 60s came with “Three duces” (3 two barrels) as an option from the factory.
I didn't pay any attention to it, it just looked like an abstract of some sort. We're moving furniture and pulling out the old carpet and later in the day my brother said:It’s upside down
Fun hobby, collecting cars…Wish I had the time, the space, and the money… Maybe next life…The guy that I was talking about having that Buick or Oldsmobile. In one separate Bay in his shop he has a metal storage rack and each shelf has towels on them with tricarb intake manifolds and those Mopar cross ram manifolds. He's got two other garages and I haven't seen what's in the third one.
Here's some pictures I took when he was showing me his stuff. I'd love to get the full tour.
He said that the Dodge dart was his first race car. The guy that taught him drag racing ran the car in the picture doing the wheelie.
I didn't pay any attention to it, it just looked like an abstract of some sort. We're moving furniture and pulling out the old carpet and later in the day my brother said:
Why is the picture upside down?
I took a picture of it with the camera and turned my camera upside down and oh my God I totally different painting.
Contact of the homeowner she said that she was the guilty one.
When they arrive home I'm sure she'll enjoy it much more.
Here's your tip of the day.
Glue gun and golf tees. I like it.
Oh, no, I get that. We were moving furniture, not trying to understand the artists interpretation of the environment or meaning of life.
...or maybe the artist was trying to tell us the world is upside down right now.
I don't think until after the seam was completed that my brother mentioned it. Until that point, it was just a splash of color on the wall. Once noticed, you couldn't unsee it.
....we had thoughts of turning the two smaller paintings upside down too.
