Haven't done anything since a week ago Thursday. Might be doing the fake grass by the fountain at the hospital on Thursday and Friday. Weather looks promising.

I went to Knott's Berry Farm for their world famous chicken dinner.

Offered me $150 to restretch two small, empty rooms. Carpet is almost new. Told him that I would.
Didn't offer to feed me, should I have declined?

You trying to make Hi go Postal ? :D
This afternoon I got a call from a customer. I also talked to her last night about removing some carpet and pad for her and she said after lunch tomorrow would be good time to start.
Anyhow, she called about 2pm and said she'd be home soon. She also said "Nickie says hello", (that's the lady she was having lunch with).
When I arrived at the lady's house, she said that Nickie sent me a gift. Would you like it now or later............ I said now. :D
It was a chocolate eclair from the high end, super nice Italian restaurant that they were dining at. Dark chocolate topped cream filled to the gills............... yum!
Rusty don't have nothin' on me. :D Nickie and her husband are in their late 70's and super cool customers as you can tell. It felt pretty nice having a surprise like that ......simply because I'm so handsome. :D

It's nice to hear when customers treat you well. :)

I've been sick past few weeks. Got really really out of it to the point I was hallucinating and was not lucid. I was just coughing and coughing uncontrollably, ran a fever and at some points had no idea where I was. Some of the hallucinations were without any medication so it was pretty trippy. Over that now, but still coughing up some pink mucus (just a little bit of blood in it). My voice sounds pretty horrid. I'll be glad when it all clears up.

Taking a road trip next Monday to Houston. My brother is going to buy a truck (well, I'm loaning him some money and paying for 80% of it) that just went down in price. I mapped out where the dealership is to make sure we could get there without toll roads and discovered that there is an Autozone two streets away so we can take it there to use the computer and battery tester. We're bringing a mechanic friend and his girlfriend (I don't think she's ever left Louisiana so she's super excited about it). The girlfriend is a sweetheart. Little bitty 5' 90lb girl. I give her bear hugs and lift her off the ground. There are some truck accessory places in the area so my brother might be able to pick up some running boards and stuff while we are there. Only thing we need to figure out is where to eat and what other places we might stop at if we have time.

I'm hoping for good weather and traffic that doesn't suck.

Yes , Have a good trip. Did you ever get to the Clinic ?

Yup. They gave me antibiotics. The mucus is now clear with no signs of blood anymore. So, that is good. But I'm still coughing a bit. I'm hoping it will clear up by Monday.

I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. LOL.

I just explained to my mother how close the Autozone is to the dealership and how easy it will be to get there. She's going to surprise my brother by gifting him with some of the money for the vehicle-- the same amount she gifted my sister with for a vehicle purchase years ago. Hopefully this one will be much better than the old hunk of junk he bought before. And my mechanic friend can have fun looking at the truck parts stores in the area. I read reviews of the dealership and they said they don't try to BS people or push extras on them or try to upcharge. So,hopefully things will go smoothly.

Has a bad antifreeze leak that I cannot find. Not head or block because no water in the oil. Hard to see anything on that 3800 V6. Besides, it is raining daily.
Chevy v6 and v8 water pumps have a weep hole on the underside of the casting. When the shaft seal gets worn out, water leaks or drips from that weep hole. They only leak while the engine is hot and there's pressure inside the system. Not sure if all water pumps have a weep hole. Yours is a Chrysler?
I replaced my vans water pump a couple months ago. I was losing water and thought it was the radiator because I could always see water at the bottom corner of the radiator. Discovered my water pump's seal was bad and the fan was blowing water all over........ that's why the radiator was wet. Replaced the pump, now the radiator is dry.
Hope you get some decent weather soon. Ours has been the suckiest winter/spring I can recall. Tomorrow it's supposed to be 70 here, maybe more.
