Ask yourself who’s making me/us feel this way ? Is it actual Reality, or marketing rhetoric or even a combination of both. Are we buying messages from Snake oil Salesman who are slick and hell bent on removing our ability to Have discernment on issues ? You bet your sweet ass they are. All they ever cared about was baiting and hooking. Now, It has evolved to this monstrosity.

Politicians are working with the media machines, to gain votes. They have us all jacked up on mountain doo doo and….we are stuck in the middle having to choose . Bite the squid or the worm ? We are no longer pledging allegiance to our flag, we are pledging allegiance to A Tribe…….. Plain and simple, this is a mass marketing campaign gone toooo far on both sides. And when one side steps it up, the other must one up it.

Have you ever had a neighbor from hell ? how did you handle it ? Probably by watching their ever move, placing judgement on them and then think of a retaliation. How did that work out ? Do tell ! And then how did you keep the peace.

Today's rant...

Going on day # 8 with record triple digit temperatures. My email is being blasted by my electric company stating my demand is 200% of normal, the city is warning me about my excess water usage, and today the electric company is on TV stating today is the day there will be massive brown outs, and although our idiot governor and super idiot president proclaimed we would be gas operated car "FREE" by 2035, our idiot governor has demanded that we do not charge our electric cars during peak energy usage hours, which he wants you to believe runs from 0400 through 0359 the following day. So we have one minute to charge our electric cars. That's ok, is you are illegal or black or brown, we will send you free money, EBT cards, free milk and eggs, free transportation, but whities need not apply.

And reading the paper today, jump the border fence and you get free medical insurance. Again, if you were white and born in this country, try getting free insurance.

Rants are good. Thats how we get things out of our system.
if every single citizen agrees with that approach, it will work.
problem is, 45% to 65% will not heed the advice.
Even less % of the population will ever hear the advice you gave in the first place. If 40 % of the .05% of the people hearing your message react positively to it....... will anything change?
Personally I just answered my own question.
There are not enough people focused on civility so the answer to me is obvious.
The left and the right will always be at war yet the level of civility is what needs to be changed.
We can still be adversaries but still get along but it takes effort.

Just from personal experience. I had a routine blood test the first week of March 2020 and then got the 2nd covid shot. My HGB was over 13. Two weeks after the shot I got really sick and my HGB was 7.9. The doctors ran all blood loss tests and could find no loss. I saw a kidney dr, a heart dr,. a pulmonary dr, a blood specialist, all linked my blood problems to the vaccine. They all said that no patient who developed normal anemia ever got hit that fast. I have had 20 blood draws since then and 5 venofer (iron) IVs. I am scheduled for 5 more.
I am not asking for sympathy. I am just trying to let other people who are sick know what it could be. None of the drs. I saw had ever heard about blood issues being a side effect of the vaccine. I spent hours on the VAERS site doing research. There are at least 200,000 reports of various red blood cell problems linked to the vaccine. Misshaped blood cells, loss of HGB, body no longer producing red blood cells which can lead to organ damage etc, Since me, my PCP has had several more patients with the problems. He says that no one had told drs. about that side effect. So, just take care of yourself. We all know, especially we veterans, how much the government lies.

My wife's aunt had terminal cancer for a couple years. The dr. said she had two days left. Then the hospital tested her for covid for some reason. When she passed the next day, they listed cause-of-death as covid.

A year or so ago general motors pulled the Cadillac line from any retailer / dealer that would not commit to their electric car plan which is all electric by 2030.
Buick has just announced the same thing. Any dealers that will not sign on to their all electric plan will get the Buick line pulled from their businesses.
In 8 years, Cadillacs and Buicks will only produce 100% electric cars.
They may call it bold but I have other words for it. California is currently telling people that they can't charge their cars because they don't have enough electricity.
It doesn't matter how much you want something you still need to live in reality.

There were increased costs for handling hospital patients once they tested positive for Covid-19. I don't know how those extra costs were covered by insurance, state or federal emergency funds or whatnot but even if those deaths were 100% unrelated to the virus -------like a motorcycle accident victim just the presence of the virus in the body created enormous strains on our medical system.

And life insurance cannot deny coverage unless there was a specific exclusion for Covid-19 written in the policy: Does Life Insurance Cover Pandemics?

Here's the problem with that sort of speculation; MOST Americans have such weak math skills that understanding ANY statistic is really beyond their pay grade. That pretty much explains why both political parties can manipulate their brand of fake news, sprinkle some BS statistics on top and "create the narrative" that the owners of the politicans require.

We all would like to believe the American citizens are smart enough to participate in our democratic system. But the system was actually designed for HIGHLY EDUCATED, white, property owners and not the Great Unwashed population at large. This present political system simply does not work because there is actually a very small percentage of highly educated voters. This is absolutely what allows the exploitation of mainstream media to control government. I believe the average voter is smart enough to elect good representatives------but by far they are not educated enough. Voting is a responsibility that requires more than just dragging your butt to the voting booth once every four years to make yourself feel like a good citizen.

That is no doubt true and seems very suspicious in the context of some of the perverse incentives to "lock down" the entire economy. So the total numbers of deaths FROM Covid isn't going to be something easy to determine with the reporting of deaths WITH Covid.

The statistic you need to look at is "Excess Deaths" off the norm for any given city/county/state/continent for a better idea. This requires one to know what the average death rates are-----seasonally adjusted as more folk die in cold weather-----creating a range of normal death rates. When we can see death rates dramatically outside the range for any isolated area or broader areas you can begin to understand how many deaths are PROBABLY associated with the pandemic. Deaths are to me much more reliable to gauge the threat of this virus as reported cases, positive test results, hospital admissions and acute hospital care can be affected by more subjective interpretation. I have a Mother-in-Law who has been a hypochondriac the whole 40 years I've know her. Now she's 88 years old and in the past 5-10 years she's developed REAL medical conditions on top of all the fantasy/dramatized conditions she suffers from. In other words, she's been crying wolf he whole life and now she's surrounded by the pack.

I've always been hyper skeptical of "trendy" medical understanding. So far (at least a few thousand years) these trends look real stupid in the rear view mirror.

A person has to trust the people who wrote the statistics.
A statistician will draw a graph to show you what they want you to see, be it the truth or whatever.
