Just paid $2.79 earlier tonight on the way home. The pump actually shut off before $100. Only a few cents, but still.

Saw on gasbuddy there was $2.69 in the area, but 8 or 9 miles out of the way one direction and across town to boot. What's the point in driving nearly 20 miles to save $3-4?

I saw on the news it was going to keep dropping.

I suspect you've been to casinos, racetracks and sports betting parlors. Well, doesn't matter either way. You for SURE know the *****, compulsive gambler with the sure bet tip.

The "news" here in this example is about 1/100 as reliable as the degenerate gambler we all know with the hot tip on the next race at Santa Anita.

At least the degenerate gambler doesn't have a STAKE in misleading you. The "news" industry?................with regard to financial news it's PRIMARILY an art of misdirection.

Bet AGAINST that BS.

Been to them all In, even Santa Anita. Beautiful track.

I do know the price keeps dropping here . Seen it at $2.60 gal

CXS, and Norfolk Southern get 200 tankers of oil each from ND every day.
they are running out of room to store it .

Is it going to go back up . Sure as hell. Enjoy it while you can .

I freaked out the other day when I noticed gas at the Phillips 76 station at $3.19.

I sure HOPE gas continues to go down.

Santa Anita and Del Mar are both great ways to waste an afternoon and lose money. In fact the scenery and people can be so enjoyable you might even forget to be miserable about leaving with an empty wallet.

Whatever I read in the media concerning finance I feel is safe to assume is misinformation planted by the multi-billion dollar hedge fund traders.

I struggle to think of any exceptions. They are out there to trade AGAINST you and the financial journals are their main tools. When they start hyping gold and precious metals it probably means someone out there is selling. Doesn't mean gold is a bad investment over a longer time frame. I just think they're crooked as all hell and basically have no incentive to discuss finance aside from the potential to misdirect the crowd.
