Here's one layer at a time in 20 increments. Photoshop don't have increments, but I do.:D
Been trying to make 4 waterfall images appear the same starting with my scan settings. by 'the same' I mean color and tone. I'm learning a few new tricks. Once I got the colors good, I de-saturated the colors on these for a little fun. Not sure if a full B&W might look better.

Here's a completed color version of one of those. It's called North fork Falls. I've got quite a few hours in it trying to tweak everything out of it ....so it doesn't look tweaked........ I'm a tweaker. :eek:

I'm sure he just wanted a better view of the bird so he could identify it for his bird watching journal.
 
That looks a nice area to spend a bit of time

It's my wife's favorite beach. It's really nice to get away from the crowds that one finds further up north towards Los Angeles. It's even south enough of the main beaches in Orange County to keep out the riff raff.

Due to erosion though they dumped 18 zillion tons of rocks along certain sections we used to swim and lay about in the sand. Now you can barely walk across those areas but on that day there was plenty of good sand to go around.
