You got chains? I still got a pair behind my seat and I’m sure I won’t need them any time soon. The BFG’s I had on my van had awesome traction. Too bad they melted on the way to Phoenix.

I don't have chains. I don't know why either?
I have a set of really good cooper AT's on it. This is only the second time I been stuck with this van. It was a hill going around a curve. Couldn't get enough momentum around the curve to get up the hill.

My buddy drove an hour out of town to pull me out. He's got a big 4x4 Yukon with extremely aggressive tires. Put the tow strap on and walked me out in reverse..... I owe him a 12 pack for sure!!!

I'm over the freaking winter! It was 25 today and It felt good.... compared to -20. That's pathetic!

What causes this?
The width of this carpet was 11’ 11 1/2 “ on one end and 11’ 9 1/4 “
on the other.

I wonder if it got stretched in manufacturing or if it was cut unevenly somehow? My guess is uneven cut, but I could be mistaken.

So, I noticed the past few weeks that the toilet tank was no longer parallel to the wall. At first I thought maybe it was never lined up right but it kept turning more and eventually the corner of the tank was touching the wall. So the good news is, today I grabbed the bowl and pivoted the toilet back so it was lined up. The bad news is, I was able to pivot the toilet back in place. It should not be able to do that. It's on a repair flange that was bolted to the OSB patch job underneath. So, I bet it's rotted and I have to replace it. Ugh. I need to redo the plumbing anyway, but it's a pain. It's also possible the bolts in the flange are sliding I suppose.

The bolts and the flange are in a keyhole type slot. I suppose they could move, especially so if the floor is uneven. Problem is, if the toilet moves, so does the wax seal.

Ewwww, how did that fuzzy **** sneak on your van? 😂

I'm proud to say I got my carpet jobs down to about +/-12 a year!!

Had a talk with the shop I work out of and they got another crew to do most of the carpet! I only have to do the one's she doesn't trust the other crew to do. High end carpet, tailoring, friends of theirs, patterned goods etc.

Their usually a pain in the ass but at least it's only a few a year! I'll take it.

I'm guessing the tinnermans got out of sync. For thse who don't know what a tinnerman is, it is a sprocket that pulls the carpet down the line. If you look close at a selvedge edge you will see little holes in the backing caused by the tinnerman.

Like Highup said the flange might be loose. If they just replaced that maybe just popping a in a couple screws will do it, or on the plastic pipe maybe they "forgot" to use pipe weld. Anycase, you have to pull the toilet, so might as well take a look, see where your at. Pulling the toilets no big deal.
