We went with it. Me and the wife a long time ago decided when paint turns out s lot different in the wall than we thought in store, we assume it is fate.... or something and just go for broke. I like it in the end. Its very cozy.

What kind of lighting you have will play on the color as well. I’ve got some of them fancy switchable LED lights that you can choose between warm, cool and day light. It’s interesting to see how much of a difference that choice will make on a room.

I appreciate you trying man... but I am just color dumb. Unlike color blind, it is a condition that only exists in the male section of the species and it is directly in proportion to how many colors a woman sees.

This is true, the female gene is responsible for your color perception. I usually pick something simple and basic when it comes to colors cus I’m capable of that. Harder to fail when the bar is set low.

A man has got to know his limitations. That’s some Clint Eastwood **** right there.

I apparently didn't get this "female gene" to perceive more colors. A lady was trying to pick matching pants and shirts. I saw some pants that looked like they matched the shirt she liked. I showed it to her and she told me they were different colors. They looked exactly the same to me. My mother can differentiate more colors than I can as well. She had these beads that looked exactly the same to me but she informed me they were 5 different shades and sorted them separately.

I slept almost all day today. Was exhausted again. I've been trying to help my friend plan out his tiny nursery for the baby. I am not good at stuff for babies but I can at least help with furniture placement. He's going with a water resistant interlocking foam flooring (looks like puzzle tiles) to help insulate the floor a bit and to make it softer for the baby to crawl on. The room is smaller than the closets in my sister's house (she has walk-in closets). It's 112"x92". One wall has a door, the adjacent wall (to the left) has an air conditioner in a window, the ceiling slopes downward so it's only 71" high at one point. It's only 86" at the highest point. He wants to have a TV on one of the walls, crib on the wall opposite the door (since it can't go directly in front of the AC and he doesn't want it on the right wall bc there are electrical outlets). He doesn't want rugs or carpet that the kid can get messes on. The crib has an attached changing table with drawers. The room is right off the kitchen and there is a 1-1/2" drop from the kitchen floor to the floor in this room. Is there some sort of trim that can be put on the very edge of the step up to soften it in case the kid falls and bumps his head? He's over a year old but can't walk yet but he's trying to.

Friend said he wants the room to be soothing to the kid to help him sleep. He also wants to put in a toy box of some sort but I have no idea what size or what material.

This is what I have so far for the room (not really sure on size/placement of AC because I can't remember- but I know it's probably smaller than this-- need to get measurements).

The crib and dresser are blocky because I didn't get a good look at them to draw out the style better. Thus far I have a little trash bin for diapers (which will have a lid in reality), small toy box, dresser, crib, air conditioner, and 32" tv (I don't think it's a great idea to have a tv in a baby's room but they want to have something to run music videos to help him sleep).

Any suggestions?

This guy's channel is fantastic. He's a teacher and educator like another. I've heard of the James Webb telescope but I haven't heard its name mentioned for a long long time. I didn't even know what made it so special I just know it was a replacement for Hubble. Not a replacement, in addition to.
How come these guys are talking about things that I can't comprehend but it's still interesting?

We painted many of the interior walls with a color that resembles a muted beige. All was well, until I had cataracts and needed new lenses. I was unaware that everyone's eyes have a yellow hue in their lenses. My replacement lenses are clear as glass, so now our walls have a pink hue to them. People think I am crazy, but this is what I see through my eyes. It is very annoying.

Pink would be very annoying. Learn to think that it's really olive drab.

I did not know that about the yellowed lenses. My mom had cataract surgery & replaced lenses. I wonder if that is part of why colors look different to her. Yesterday I got up very early & took my brother to get a new battery for his truck. It was still under warranty so the replacement was completely free. Not sure what the warranty is on the new one. But the other battery was made in January of this year so there's no reason why it should have gone bad that fast. Still need to replace the battery in the CRV. It's a different size battery though. 51R or something and my brother's was 24R.

I haven't had much energy the last few days. Been looking stuff up on the internet. I have some stuff I want to learn to sew.

I don't know how old that battery was but I wouldn't buy a car battery that had set on the shelf since January. You need to buy a car batteries at a place that sells a lot of batteries so you always get a new battery. A 6-month-old battery is not a new battery
