A caravan of migrants is traveling north toward Mexico and the United States — and prompting alarm and false claims from Mr. Trump and Representative Matt Gaetz, Republican of Florida.

There is no evidence that George Soros, a billionaire and major Democratic donor, paid thousands of migrants to “storm.” Nor is there evidence that Democrats support the effort, as Mr. Trump has said.

Mr. Gaetz is wrong about several things in his description of the video he posted.

First, it was not shot in Honduras, which he later acknowledged. Google Maps and Facebook photos place the storefront seen in the video, an auto parts shop, in Chiquimula, Guatemala. As Kirk Semple of The New York Times reported, the migrant caravan was formed last week in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, and has made its way north through Guatemala.

Second, Mr. Gaetz’s speculation that the migrants were being offered cash to join the caravan by Mr. Soros is unfounded.

That would be interesting Rusty. It would make campaigns boring.
People need to be reminded of political mistakes that an opponent made during their time in office. Be it projects they created or approved or wasteful practices........ not how many parties they went to in college nor how many girlfriends they had or that time they helped carry the principal's Volkswagen Bug up the steps of the high school auditorium.

Problem being is that many votes are misrepresented by both parties. Major reason is that many times a bill is opposed because some douche tried attach in some pork to it and congressmen vote no on it. They don't explain that in the hate ads. They only want you to hear what they want you to hear.
Plus, and just saw an ad today where they inserted some audio asking a politician a question and then inserted a clip from some other video where it made him look bad. That question was never asked of the guy in the meeting.

Pre-existing conditions is a big deal. The GOP including Martha McSally who is running for John McCains senate seat outright lies about her voting down to eliminate pre-existing conditions on health care.
Martha voted to eliminate pre-existing conditions.
These people are slaves to the healthcare corporations .
If your republican and have a pre-existing condition y'all better think twice about your vote.
That includes all your relatives and immediate family and friends.
The end effect will be your going to go bankrupt and just end up dying when they deny you coverage for any.....any health issue you had prior to the new legislation .

You got that nailed. Oregon is a blue, blue state. Our Republican challenger is both for and against a woman's right to chose.
He voted against a health care issue, probably because he hates women, children and the elderly....... you know the game.
I'd like to know what he really voted against. Like you said, it probably had some other bill added or the bill he voted against was flawed......... hard to tell from the political ads what really occurred.

There's nothing wrong with people that work here that have green cards. Jobs that Americans won't do are a good reason for seasonal workers. It helps us and it helps them. It needs to be a fair wage tho........... Not $3 or $4 and hour either. If they work here they need to get paid the same as a US citizen would make doing the same labor, because some Americans will do that work.
I don't like it when "undocumented" (ILLEGAL) people work in construction or industrial trades. Employers say they work faster and work cheaper. Wellll..........., how about raising wages high enough to attract legal employees?
.

Nobody is letting anyone in. Obama bumped up monies for border security. Actually arrests are going up right now vs end of Obama.
So who's letting more in.

I keep saying, if we put 1/1,000,000 of the people in Mexico to work like we do China we wouldn't have this problem with South American immigration.
And if you followed the real news, we can't get enough people to harvest our crops
I don't see any shortages or price hikes.
The issue is legal vs illegal. There is a system in place to legally harvest crops, right?
