My uncle was much like Raymond in the movie Rain Man. Had the little fidgit and everything. Some are great with numbers, some with statistics and I guess gaming too.
When I was a kid my grandparents had no idea what autism was. They just thought he was special needs. Told me he fell down the stairs in Philadelphia.

Got a message this morning that my best friend died in his sleep last night. He had a long, good life. Not asking for sympathy. We met when he was 4 and I was 5. He passed away at 67. I have a lot of good memories.
That's pretty cool to have close friends from such a young age. Sorry to hear that, but I can't think of a better way to go when the time comes.
Had a neighbor give me a 18 HP Craftsman lawn tractor today. It runs. Another project. 44" cut.
Went and got the van today that was stolen from my daughter about six weeks ago. Luckily they did not destroy it. But it was 60 miles from here. Then mowed two yards.
I went shooting today. Target on the left was 5 rounds at 10' with a 9mm Glock, and the right was a .40cal with another Glock. Looks like the 9mm is the better shooter.
We are going shooting today. Then fishing.
I am catching a plane and flying up to Norfolk Island for a Country Music festival as we know a couple of the people preforming

I'm going through and cleaning stuff out of my shop in the garage. You accumulate a lot of stuff[junk] over the years. Also rearranging things a little. Today it is colder than a whores heart plus rain and hail at times. Going to the low 30's tonight and tomorrow more of the same.

Mama decided to have a party for her hiking buddies here last night. Damn quinoa salads, free range hormone free chicken, and other assorted ' healthy' foods, then my big ol' fattening rib eyes.

Listened to the police scanner last night. There was a murder a few blocks from here. First murder in town in 7 years. Killer got of jail yesterday on parole. Kept my tool here on me until they caught him.
Went to the range. Outshot my wife for the first time ever. Probably only time. Not too bad for an old half-blind man.
