My wife had a purple bug for a few years and I gotta admit it was a peppy car for a diesel. Quick off the line for sure and it got 40 to 45 mph all day long with me driving it. Now that’s the engine you want to do a swap with in one of those caddy’s. The stack would interfere with my canopy so now maybe I’m thinkin a hole in the hood or front fender to poke the exhaust out of, right off the turbo.
